I am not sure if there is really anything to this as we have seen these type of videos popping up since the OU/Texas realignment but take it for what it is worth.

In a sense it's a mistake because they have just paid the price for being in the very weak ACC, but now with 12 teams getting in there is benefit to being in the weak ACC.

Wouldn't be the first mistake by FSU.
The administration has to make a decision whether they want to take less money and make the CFP on a regular basis or take the huge payday and maybe make the CFP once or twice every 10 years or more. I’m sure it drives them and Miami crazy knowing UCF gets more $ from the Big 12 than they do from the ACC.

I think FSU and these ACC teams just need to wait it out and stay in the ACC. I do think there could be outs on these GORs, the GORs just don't sound that reasonable from a legal perspective and the right judge could say hell no, these contracts aren't fair (the duration and high fees are not very common in general contracts and seem to go against a lot of Contract Theory of Fairness. The mixture of public Universities being involved and the massive changes in the industry such as move to Playoff Expansions and NIL open the door for market factors as well).

Still, it might be in FSU's best interest to stay pat. Despite being left out of playoffs, the fact that they are relevant again is a HUGE step forward.

Not saying I agree or disagree with this, but I've seen variations posted on what a 28-team mega conference would look like. Thoughts?

SEC West: Missouri, Kansas, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Oklahoma St., Texas, Texas A&M

SEC North: Louisville, Kentucky, West Virginia, Vanderbilt, Tennessee, Virginia, Virginia Tech

SEC East: Duke, North Carolina, North Carolina St., South Carolina, Clemson, Georgia, Georgia Tech

SEC South: Florida, Florida St., Alabama, Auburn, LSU, Mississippi, Mississippi St.

Hahahahaha, cakewalk for UT. Bloodbath in the proposed South.

Sounds like FSU and SEC have sour grapes. I think they are going to the B1G.

I still say if the SEC can take former Southwestern Conference Members Texas & Okla, they should go ahead and take FSU & Clemson. Them and ND are the only big names left. AND actually in the SOUTH........

Let's take FSU and Clemson and the Vols are sure to get into the playoff once every 25 years.

Who came up with the idiotic idea of a 12-team playoff when 8 should be the absolute max number and the logic number for expansion? You have
to award byes to make 12 work. I'm quickly coming to hate college football--it's just commercial trash now.

Paid the price for playing in a pansy conference. Now they want to play in a new pansy conference. Makes sense.
First off, let me say I’m a hard core Tennessee alumni and fan. That being said, it kind of blows my mind how bad FSU‘s luck is. People talk about our sad luck with injuries, bad calls, ect and there is some truth to it. But poor FSU. Anybody remember “wide right” vs Miami? I think it was 2 years in a row a short missed field goal cost them a shot at a national title. Heck, the year we won it, their heisman trophy winning QB (Wienke) got hurt as well as his backup and we got to play against their 3rd guy who I think was a walk on. Not sure about that, but I know he was 3rd string. We won by 7. Anybody think we win that game with Weinke throwing to Peter Warrrick? Hard to imagine. I love UT but have to believe we got a break there. And then this year, same scenario. I heard someone say that they should blame TCU since last year they took “the most deserving teams” and ended up with a terrible game. Horrible luck.

Didn’t their AD veto the expanded playoffs which set it back to now? Sometimes you make your own luck.

Most FSU fans probably aren’t old enough to remember an 11-1 FSU team getting into the National Championship game over a much better/deserving undefeated WVU team in 1993.

They also probably don’t remember how the media kept FSU relevant during the early BCS years when the ACC was laughably bad, and FSU was getting rolled in bowls games by every school not named Virginia Tech

Looks like 4 conferences not 1 conference or maybe the NFL Lite
