Added '18 FL WR/ATH Amari Burney to the recruit lists. We offered today 8-3-16. He is teammates with 2017 Vol verbal commit C.J. Cotman.

Bologna, if it's any more enticing, I too vote for the position-sorted format. Makes it very easy to look through.

It's a lot easier than you're making it out to be.

I usually use Google since I can open various tabs/search various guys.

Google "player name" site:volnation.com

First result is usually the thread with the player.

Copy the link, highlight the text of the player in the OP, then insert the link.

Keep doin' that 'til you've got 'em all. Prob take 30 mins depending on how quick you are with a computer.

Catching up with it would take a little effort but does enhance the thread. Once it is caught up it is easy to keep it that way because as you add players you just go ahead and add the link while you are adding the player.

I really do know how to do this. I've done similar stuff on Operation Sports forums in the past. I know how to hyperlink.

It would just have been much easier to have done it while putting in the information for the recruits instead of going back & having to do it. But I will work to get it done.

Hey guys. I decided to start over fresh with my recruit lists from this thread. I found some errors anyhow with some of the recruits that I had linked with information.

Some were spelled wrong while others the links weren't working right because I ran them over into texts.

It's going pretty quick though after starting all over. I already have 2017 complete(both commits & recruits). I'll be starting on the year 2018 next. I don't have to do the UT commits from now on because I placed them towards the top of my post.

It will be all potential recruits from now on. Should be done tomorrow or Sunday for sure. Thanks guys for your ideas & suggestions. It really is making the thread look much better.

I'm not only have hyperlinking for each individual recruit but I also have them placed by year & position as well. Thanks again guys for all of you help! :good!:

Thread looks great, nice work! I will help point out one little thing I noticed. You have CJ Lewis listed in recruits under QB (which is correct) and under CB.

I have reached my Character Limit for the 1st post in this thread Freak. What should I do? I was almost completely finished with 2018 recruits. Can you extend the character limit if the thread is stickied or not?

I really didn't want it stickied until I was completely finished but I don't know what to do here now since I'm stuck with character limits & really didn't want to pick up posting from where the thread is right now at page #8.

Let me know what you want me to do or you can do for me. Or, let me know what's the best way to handle this. I plan on going to 2020 even though there won't be much for that year to post. Thanks!

What if you deleted the top schools, which changes so often it's gotta be impossible to keep up with? And also delete the measurables, which are found on the volnation and 24/7 links? That's gotta save a lot of characters.

I really don't want to change the top schools because that's what people want to know the most. What's the latest on this player? What's the latest on that player? Where do they seem to be going? Those are all the legit & most asked questions.

I like to keep the measurables up there too to show the differences in the scores from these recruits. Those measurables really show the difference between say a 5* & 4* plus a 4* to a 3*. I highlighted/bolded a few of these measurables to a few recruits that had some unbelievable numbers.

As for the 247 links those are the only recruiting links that I want to use. Some don't have full recruit profiles up yet so I had to revert to other services. Let's see what kind of idea Freak has.

Even if I take out some stuff with still needing to add 2019 recruits & what little there is for 2020 it's still going to be character limit problem. I wonder if there's anyway I could get post #2 replaced/moved & reserved for me to finish it up?

I know Freak can move post around. I think that would be best. That way I would have 2 posts reserved to get it all finished & in there without compromising anything I've already done to keep all my texts & information. Thanks!

1st post is finished & completely reconstructed Freak. Take a look at it & see what you think. I think it's plenty good enough to be stickied but it's all up to you. I'll have no hard feelings if not done.

I do know that I have spent a lot of time on this thread. Especially when I decided to reconstruct after a few of you told me it would look better & it certainly does. :good!:

I will be keeping the thread updated as best as I can. Members can also help me out by posting in the thread with corrections and/or additions if needed. I don't expect/want any special recognition if the thread is stickied. Thanks!

'17 GA DE Michael Allen committed today as well to Wake Forest.

'17 VA DT Jordan Williams committed to Clemson on 8-6-16.
