If Freak ends up having a problem with it then I will change the color. Otherwise, I'm keeping it like it is. Just trying to match school colors for commits is the only reason that I'm doing it. The yellow is really the only color that you can't see as good as the other color choices. Thanks!

I have went through every single recruit & adjusted their 247 Sports composite score. Most '19 recruits don't even have full profiles from 247 Sports so I didn't need to do that for most of them. I did do it for recruits '17-'18 though.

There were two players whom I can't remember that had a significant upgrade in not only their composite score but also took them up one star rating in ranking.

I think both was 3* that went up to 4* recruits. I should have noted them but I wasn't even thinking about doing that at the time of doing this.

There were others that seen smaller increases or decreases in composite scores since I started this thread. Thanks!

Added '19 TX RB Deondrick Glass to the recruit lists. UT, Arkansas, Oklahoma State, FSU, & Washington are only scholarship offers to date.

Added '19 GA CB K.J. Wallace to the recruit lists. UT, Auburn, South Carolina, & Vandy are only scholarship offers to date.

Added '19 NC CB Tyus Fields to the recruits lists. UT, Clemson, LSU, & NC State are only schools to offer to date.

Added '19 FL OLB Diamante Howard to the recruit lists. UT, USF, FAU, & Temple are only schools to offer a scholarship to date.

Added '19 FL OL EJ Ndoma-Ogar to the recruit lists. UT, Wake Forest, & Buffalo are only schools to have offered a scholarship to date.

Added '20 GA ATH Arik Gilbert to the recruit lists. UT, Georgia, Bama, UNC, & South Carolina have offered.

Can you add more characters to the 1st post for me? I've reached my limit again on the amount of characters I can use. Let me know please.

I had to leave my last recruit added '20 ATH Arik Gilbert with a short bio due to these limits. If you can't add more characters then we need to figure out a plan for me to continue adding recruits. Thanks buddy!

I'm trying to provide as much information as possible there buddy. There's going to be a lot of recruits for classes '17-'20. We need this for VN members because I will be updating the 1st post regularly.

I'm anal about recruit information as it is. Freak already increased my character limit once. I don't know if he can do it again but I will find out. Thanks!

BTW, I'm pretty much done adding recruits for '17-'19 but I do have a few more that I'd like to add for the class of '20 though. There might be a few more needed for '19 but '17-'18 are pretty much wrapped up unless more offers come.

I see that you're on here posting so please address this situation for me so I can continue. I already have 1 more recruit that I need to add to my lists.

Not trying to be pushy or hurry you but I want to know if you can either increase the character limit again or we need do this a different way now. Maybe use post #2 instead if you can't increase character limits? Thanks!

Most of the recruits above don't have their individual recruit thread. There's a select few that I just somehow missed like Max Wray(I know he's already signed elsewhere) when reconstructing this thread initially.

Most recruits though have been offered by UT in recent days/weeks so they need to be added. Some only have just a few offers while others have 12+ offers.

Only a select few have that many offers to date though. The norm is around 3-8 scholarship offers to these recruits listed above.

Again, I will be adding these in the coming days. As soon as Freak adds more character limits to this thread. Thanks guys! BTW, for the ones that need individual recruit threads I will also be creating those as well.

One other thing. I have paid access to a number of recruiting websites. Places like 247 Sports, Scout, Rivals, MaxPreps, & Hudl are just some of the websites that I have a monthly paid subscription to so I can get information that others can't. Not bragging about it at all.

Just saying this stuff helps tremendously when it comes to insider recruiting information. I had forgot about my 247 Sports paid subscription that ran out this week so I renewed it today though so I am back in business again. Thanks!

Thank you Freak for increasing my character limit again. :good!: Edit that Freak: You must not have done what I thought you did. It let me enter a link to 247 sports just fine when I was getting character limit errors.

It's now back to doing the same thing. Character limits again. Please fix this for me if you can today. I've got several more recruits I need to add to my lists plus to create individually. Thanks!

Hey tony, just a suggestion...could you maybe not make a thread for every single recruit that we offer until they are going to visit, or maybe one of the recruiting sites has some info on them and TN. Maybe always make one for in-state kids, because we should be in it for most of those recruits. Just trying to help you not have to put so many in the OP of this thread, as well as having so many threads of recruits who will hardly ever consider us. Just a suggestion.

I put the information for every recruit that we have offered to date. They will be placed whichever class they're in. Plus, I have paid subscriptions to many recruiting sites that I get information that you'll can't get for me to know a little more about each recruit.

It can't be posted here though because of TOC rules. Trust me, this is the way it needs to be done. I know there's an awful lot in the 1st post. I have now started using the 2nd post for additional recruits that need to be added. What I might do is go back & split those two post up evenly so the 1st post isn't so garbled with information. That is probably the best thing to do.

I will not compromise recruits that we have offered though because of an over-crowded 1st post. I will more than likely just split post #1 & #2 to make things look better.

How does that sound? Hopefully that's ok because like I said I will not leave recruits off the lists that we have offered. That's unless ones that announce they have committed elsewhere. Thanks!

Added '17 TN LB Jacob Phillips to the recruit lists(post #2). #7 MLB & #193rd ranked recruit overall in the 2017 class. I had forgotten him for some reason but it's not looking good for Phillips joining the Vols. He seems to have taken his interest more outside the state unfortunately.

This is a good example why I posted what I did. There's no reason to add him at his point, because we all know that he's not coming to TN.

It's not a guarantee though buddy. You have seen what Butch has pulled off in the past. That's my example of needing to post all recruits that have been offered.

Tyler Byrd wasn't coming to Knoxville last year either on NSD. He was definitely going to Miami. Who's he playing college football for in 2016? :wink:

No! I get information that a recruit has narrowed his schools or commits elsewhere is what I go by. Not about how much interest they're showing. That's not how recruiting works anyhow.

Yes, you want recruits to start showing they like your school & maybe even come for a visit(s) but that still doesn't determine whether I post or take a recruit off the lists.

I hope that you understand where I'm coming from. I'm anal about this stuff anyhow. It's easier waiting to remove a recruit than to go ahead & remove him just because he's gotten lower down on the lists.

BTW, you didn't answer my question from a previous post. Would it be better if I split the 1st post into two posts? I now have post #1-#3 to post whatever I need but I don't think I will need the 3rd post. Let me know what you think. Thanks!

It's ok. He was just trying to provide me with some insight I guess. I do kind of agree with him on there being too much clutter in the 1st post. Freak & GAVol decided to give me post #2 & #3 to allow me more space.

What I'm probably going to do is split the 1st two post up to make it not look so cluttered in the 1st post. I don't know when I'm going to get around to doing that but that's more than likely what I will be doing. Thanks!
