:eek:lol:

Nobody is considering Fulmer for the AD position regardless of what happens to Hamilton. I'd still be happy if Fulmer got the Minnoesota job so he would quit embarassing himself(and UT in the process) on national television with cbs.

there is an active contingent trying to make it happen. It includes some well heeled boosters. It is a horrible horrible awful idea, but it is not a fantasy.

Oh I know he has some support, but from what I've heard the majority of boosters with any real influence have already shot it down.

Why would Fulmer take the Minnesota job? Is Minnesota's roster stocked with talent and have had some recent success? Does Minnesota have some of the best facilities and deepest pockets in the conference? Seems that taking a program on a roll, continuing the roll, even taking it another level, then driving it into the ground is the only relevent experience Phil has. Seems to me that Minnesota is more of a rebuild or build from scratch job.

I find it sad that so many on here think using bigger words just for the sake of using them makes them seem smart. Especially when they absolutely butcher the spelling of said word.

I am so very sorry for my typo. Hope it did not offend you too much. There is a difference between a typo and a spelling error. And again I appologize for my aptitude typo. The was the word that portrayed the thought I was trying to get across. But yeah you are right, it was certainly an attempt look high and mighty.

Jimmy Hymans has a source that says Fulamanure has already declined Minnesota's offer. Primarily because, while Minnesota was being interviewed by Phat Fulmer, they offered him wheat bagels instead of donuts.

If Fulmer would to take the Minnesota job, he really would be desperate to coach again. He would not win there. He might even worse than Brewster.

Didn't Fulmer say something about wanting to compete for championships? I'm not sure he'd do that at Minnesota. Atleast not soon.

Yeah, not sure he could compete for championships there. Vandy would be a much better place for him if he wants to compete for a championship. That's as close as he will get to a championship caliber program.

No way Fulmer gets this job. He doesn't have any history of building a program from the ground up. He took a program already loaded to a higher level, but has never been a rebuilder of any sorts.

If in fact he gets an offer from Minnesota, he won't take it. He knows the odds would be stacked against him and I don't think he wants to put in that kind of effort.

Fact is, Fulmer isn't EVER going to get the head coaching job he desires. No one of any significance is going to hire him. If Fulmer was as great as some of his delusional supporters make him out to be, then he would have gotten a couple of BCS offers or a couple of NFL offers. Too bad those same people don't want to face the truth about him.

If fulmer takes the minn job and makes a couple of mil each year, will UT still have to pay him more millions?

This could be his last opportunity...if it really exists. It would certainly be the best thing to happen for UT football in the last year.

I think Fulmer's holding out for Bill Lynch to be fired so he can interview Indiana.

I wish the best for him. He loved this university like no other..I respect him for that.

If he really loved UT, he would have resigned after the 2005 disaster.

He loved himself more than anything.
