True, but I don't see why Fulmer would take that job after winning 9 imaginary games last year, and then leading the Vols to an imaginary SEC championship game appearance this year. I expect Phil to sign an imaginary extension with Tennessee.

It would be very ironic, lol.
Majors leaves Pitt to come to UT, and then Fulmer goes to Pitt after coaching UT. Lol.

This team actually fits more of what Fulmer wants in the program he desires to "step into." Not likely he'd get it, though. Pitt isn't a terrible program, and actually has a good talent level in that conference. They could (and should) compete for Big East titles, not letting teams like UConn win their conference.

Hiring Fulmer would be a good way for Pitt to avoid the expense of having any more reunions for the '76 title team.

There is this rumor floating around, from this reliable source, from this really hard to find board, like it's not even on the internet. These guys are that good.

Anyways the rumor is Fulmer is going to just randomly show up at the UT/Pitt game. Nobody is going to know if he is there to watch the Vols play or will he rip off his wing sauce stained dress shirt and reveal a Pitt shirt,followed by a chair shot to Mike Hamilton.. Looks like that's 50/50 right now.. JMO..

Just sharing what i have heard..
