I so rarely say it I've forgotten how I say it.

It is always AppaLATCHia I have gotten into several heated arguments over the years and they always say "What gives you the divine right to say how it's pronounced?".

And I say "It's because I effing grew up there!!!".

If you follow that logic, the person that lives closest to a pecan tree wins.

BTW, there is also a "R" in warshing machine.
