You have things measured out for you before you even start sometimes? Must be nice, Rachel.I don’t usually have things “measured out in little glass bowls”(just sometimes), but I have learned the hard way to get every single ingredient and gadget out on the counter and skillets clean, dry, and ready before I start. Many Bad Words used to be said before I finally grasped this.

Same here. It’s the chopping that slows me down. I’ve caught my fingernails with the knife enough to have no interest in speeding up.I don't ever have anything measured out for me, I gotta do that crap myself, and clean everything myself that's why I can't "complete" a meal in thirty minutes.
This is where I think I'm misunderstanding and or confused with this exchange.The only time I measure anything out beforehand
