I don’t usually have things “measured out in little glass bowls” 🤪 (just sometimes), but I have learned the hard way to get every single ingredient and gadget out on the counter and skillets clean, dry, and ready before I start. Many Bad Words used to be said before I finally grasped this. 🤬

I don't ever have anything measured out for me, I gotta do that crap myself, and clean everything myself that's why I can't "complete" a meal in thirty minutes.

Same here. It’s the chopping that slows me down. I’ve caught my fingernails with the knife enough to have no interest in speeding up.

The only time I measure anything out beforehand is if something calls for a huge number of spices, all different amounts, added straight to the skillet (or whatever.) That does save what’s left of my sanity.

This is where I think I'm misunderstanding and or confused with this exchange.

My whole point was RR and all those other celebs have someone do all that for them. I doubt they do it before the show themselves but have someone do it for them. Like the comedian said, they just walk out and everything is done for them. If she added the time her assistant spent prepping everything, it would be "RR's 45-60 minutes or more meals".
IIf you're understanding that and just going on about something else, my bad.

If 114 understood all this, I'm right. Lol.
