I really hate what happened to your daughter and I hope she gets will soon and has no complications, but I have a dachshund and I am afraid his back is starting to go out. That's pretty brutal.

Well to be fair I don't know if that's what she meant, that's why I asked before calling her a hateful bitch.

25 years ago I had a mutt who slipped a disk in his back. Vet wanted $1200 to fix it with surgery, but no guarantee it would work. I said no and he said try steroids and basic immobilization for 2 weeks. Dog completely healed and became the worst (best?) fence jumper I have ever had.
