I know for a fact recruiters are steering them away, and using screenshots from these message boards in doing that. "Why do you want to go to Tennessee, when they don't even like their coaching staff." That's been a big one. It was done to an incoming player for next year. I'm glad she didn't listen to it.

I'm sorry, but this is just stupid bs. Recruiters don't use screenshots from what fans think on message boards as recruiting tools. Recruits don't go on message boards to see how "fans" will treat them- they go on official visits. They sit in TBA and see the thousands of fans, they hear how TN leads the nation in attendance EVERY year. They hear Rocky Top play and feel the passion as the players run onto the court to fireworks. The tradition and pageantry at UT, the fan support, is unparalleled in women's basketball. That's what recruits care about, not screenshots from disgruntled fans on a website.

These recruits can go anywhere on a visit and see maybe a few thousand fans in the seats. Hell, even number #1 SC only puts a few thousand fans in the arena. Geno has on multiple times complained about fan attendance.

unless TN attendance drops by half, Holly isn't going anywhere.
