So are we going to hear Dale Carter and Jake Reed have been hired by UGA shortly?
This kind of crap is an example of why I am having a hard time investing in this community as much any more. So many good posters but the prevailing conversations are absolute dog crap like this.
It sounds like the Gibbs and the Reeds are going to have some immediate family members on academic scholarships at UGA who would otherwise be paying their way to take remedial courses at Athens Technical Community College.
I really like Gibbs, but come on he ain't worth all that bs. What is Kirbs angle here? He knows as well as we do Gibbs is going to end up at S there. He sure ain't gonna play LB in that 3-4. He will make a good/great S . He would make an even better "star" LB at UT though.
Not to defend the guy, but what's wrong with his math? Is it because he didn't round up?
Honestly? If one was seriously interested in calculating the percentages of a defensive back making the NFL from the schools in question, you would have to know more than the current number of db's in the NFL. You would also need to know the number of defensive backs the two schools have signed vs the db's who have made NFL rosters. You would also need to establish a period of time for the db entering the league to know how many total db's are in question. He was oversimplifying things to say the least with his %.
Then why not just ignore the post, or him altogether, and then it won't draw any attention to something that contributes to making something so worthless a prevailing conversation?
Edit: Reading it back, that sounded way more snarky than intended. Definitely not any sort of slight towards you VIA, you've always been one of my favorites around here, I was sincerely asking that question.

That was a very even keeled post. He was pointing out the delusion amongst fan bases, including our own with reference to what Dawg fans will do when he OVs to tOSU.
Nothing remotely worth banning. The majority of you sunshine pumping Vols are myopic. If it doesn't fit your "UT is the best bro, if he doesn't pick us then He sucks anyway bro" narrative, you resort to to the garbage quoted above . Here's looking at you Volfreakjosh. No rational discussion. No possibility that he just likes somewhere else better. Just, "well if he doesn't pick UT then he sucks and we didn't want/need him anyway.
Y'all need to lay off Leb/ Crunchy with the talk of "fitting his narrative". Glass houses and what not.
