Had UGA not caught a Hail Mary before Tennessee's Hail Mary, there wouldn't have been one to knock down. Bottom line UGA lost, and no one outside of UGA fans care how it happened.

Aren't you lot the ones talking about how rankings dont matter? When you recruit at that level (average/upper-average SEC), you have to hit on your lower ranked players. UGA's problem, though, is a bit more specific. Like losing every top WR we've recruited, not attempting to recruit an OT for 4 years, and loaning out our entire '13 class to the rest of CFB.

But there aren't any excuses. While it isn't a loaded roster, it's also not a rebuild; and that UGA team at home should have wiped the floor with that doo-doo butter, soon to be 4 loss UT team. Chaney wet the bed in the 2nd half. Meh. I do find it funny how you all are piling on Smart. Anyone who doesn't think he's doing a fine job so far is out of their depth. And with ALL Butch has accomplished versus our guy, I'll take our awkward prick over your drill sergeant any day. Don't know that either will last long, but Kirby will get his guys (like gibbs).

Absolutely Volatil, one of the talking heads actually broke down the play and their was much more strategy involved than the ordinary fan would know. Any time you complete that pass there has to be some luck involved but Tenn did everything correct on that play..

Georgia did everything wrong, rushing three, tallest guy in the back behind the pass. But then that is how we drew it up!! GBO

Smart is a very good coach, Richt left him with a terrible, terrible roster full of busts and players that don't fit Smart's system. He needs at least four years before we can judge him. Richt might have won 10 games a season at a program nobody cares about, but he was overrated. It made complete sense to fire him and hire a guy who has never been a head coach.

Don't worry Georgia bros, Dooley having moral victories in year one does not make Smart's moral victories less meaningful.
