His best friend signed with Georgia in the last class, and Dixon is now committed to Georgia and they are good friends as well. Doesn't look good imo.

i like tennessee, he said. i like knoxville. Its a good atmosphere. I love the atmosphere. Its a nice, family atmosphere. And i like what they have going on up there, so its cool.
at the end of the day, i dont really base my decision on where other people go, gibbs said. theyre going to try to recruit me to their school, but im not sure (where i am going) yet. I mean, i have no idea, no clue.
tennessee, i mean, i guess you could say its a little leeway. But, at the end of the day, im still going to have to do what i do. Ive always looked at it that way.
This is pure speculation, but that's what makes this job so fun. My pick would be Deangelo Gibbs, the Scout five-star athlete from Georgia. Gibbs ranks as the No. 1 athlete in The Peach State and is the No. 3 overall player in Scout's 2017 class and he could legitimately play both ways at the next level. Let's put it this way: he's almost always the most athletic player on the field at wide receiver, but may be a better defensive back. That's how good he is. He has 4.5 speed and is 6-foot-2, which makes him a long corner and a nice-sized receiver if he and his coaches in college want him to stay on offense. This guy has offers all over the country, from Alabama to Oregon, so prying him away from a host of elite schools will be difficult. Then again, Butch Jones and his staff have established themselves as some of the best recruiters in the country, so expect this one to get mighty interesting.
Lol more like UGA going to be mad when we take both Gibbs and Dixon
Rarely do guys follow through with their idea of playing with their best friend(s). They ultimately go where they feel comfortable, where they can play early, where they think gives them the best chance to be drafted, etc. Those two going to Georgia means little to nothing IMHO.
