Yeah, I guess I live in a basement, too. Even though of all of the houses I've been to in this town, I have never seen anyone with a basement. (Due to proximity to the ocean)

Anything to keep the Richardson and Jayden Hunter thread off the top. Seems like it has been slow recruiting news for guys we are in on for some reason. Got tired of seeing players that we are not getting at top. Also nice it is a 2017 recruit too, I try to focus one class at a time.

Which guys? I know he is just repeating what he is told so that isn't a shot at him, more so that kids don't tell the coaches one thing only to do another. Also know that the info is a snapshot in time. There were plenty last year but the biggest was Brown and Davis.

I remember him saying that we were looking good. I don't recall his patented "Vol" or :). In any case, it's a STRETCH to call it a "bad stretch ".

Way too early for this crap. Plenty of time to get wound up before NSD. But, by all means---start cuttin' people up. GFW is one of the best posters on this board. I don't care if he misses on 50% of his posts. He still brings more to the table than most.

I know who GFW is and he is legit. You guys are stupid to dismiss his info. it is only gospel if he is in a kids head. But, he is hearing what the coaches think and his numbers are well ahead of 50% when he actually calls it to happen with his patented :).

I don't seem to recall this bad stretch. I thought he was pretty much spot on as he has almost always proven to be.

I live in Ga, know a bunch of HS coaches here, lots of HS coaches/teachers from Tn. So most of the kids I know about are ga kids except what Hubbs and Callahan say. Speaking of AU, it normally doesn't end well for Tn when it's head to head. You can use your own Math skills to figure out why. I knew it was over for Brown when everyone was reporting he was at AU on a visit, except the pic I saw, he wasn't on the campus. He was at a cabin with Pat Dye. His 'review of the visit' was of the manner to which 'saw what I needed to see', 'got a lot of questions answered'. AU is Ole Miss' role model.

GFW brings basically 2 categories of info:
1. Sense of the Staff ("our staff feels ____ about this recruit");
2. Commit or Not ("Vol", :), or "he's gone").

Accuracy as to 1 is not the same as accuracy as to 2. When GFW weighs in on 2, he is damn near 100%. For 1, take with however much salt you want, but it's still useful info as it gives us keyboard jockeys a glimpse behind the curtain.
