Well then we'll just have to convince him by beating the Dawgs senseless at their own place. Which we'll do no doubt in my mind. Wait 'til this Eason kid is out there staring Barnett and Kongbo in the face.

He will. That was bush league as hell.
Is he supposed to be 100% ready for the opener?
I'm hoping so. Jmo if he isn't 100 percent good to go by the second or third game, I would look into a red shirt. Let him completely heal up, bust but in the S&C program and come back with a vengeance. If he is 100 percent healthy then unleash him like a thundering herd of Tuttles.
My thoughts as well. So much of his game comes from his explosion and power which we know comes from the lower body and he is playing the most physical position in the game. I just don't want him to come back and not be 100 percent and set his career back.Getting everything healed is step one. It sounds like they are expecting that to happen in time for the season. Step two will be regaining strength. I think that could be what ends up holding him back. He probably hasn't been able to bear weight on that leg since the injury, meaning muscles may have atrophied. It could take quite a while to deal with that part of the process. Just speculation on my part though.
This is what I've always thought but it's a long way to signing day
It is... that's why this is such an important year for us to do well. The excitement around this program hasn't been this high in years.
We've got the depth and talent to match anyone in the SEC, but we'll need to play and coach well to win the East, which is no doubt our minimum goal this year.
These boys just need to focus on class, football, and not raping, and App State on Sept. 3rd should be the only game they think about. Show them boys they won't be doing any giant killing that afternoon.
