Your last sentence? Go with that. If that doesn't help, look at the beast athletes on this team and try to remember when "we're not going to get this one " or "I don't see him as a SEC player" were taglines on this board.

And thats why we shouldnt hold any insider stories as truths. They are just opinions. Recruiting is a fickle thing. Ergo, Gibbs was never a lock. Some think now he is a UGA lock. Maybe he is and maybe he isnt. We will see come NSD.

GFW's made a lot of predictions and brought updates consistently that have been proven true over time and multiple times. While recruiting does change, some things don't.

Curious as to what you think doesnt change. Players change their minds all the time. Guys who seem like locks to certain schools decommit, flip or just commit somewhere else. It happens every year.

And some stay like Baylen Buchanon, JG, Quinten Dormady, the CB Osbourne, need i go on? I agree it happens, but not all then time. Preston Williams is another example, how long was he committed for?

I know that GFW is a well respected poster on this site, but let's not forget that he is expressing an opinion. The fact that he says it does not mean it is fact.

Nobody in recruiting is a lock until they have signed the NLI. The sooner fans realize this, the better.

Based on how recruiting goes these days, committing to a school does not mean the school is a lock to sign you. There are more than a dozen kids over the last 3 or 4 years that can testify to that.
