First off I hope we get GIBBS, but if we do not it will not be the end of the world. We will still field a team and play next year. As for the recruiting, it ain't over till it is over. Our most likely starting left tackle this year was committed to old piss till hours before NSD. HE HAD RECRUITED HARD for them. Now he will start for us. We may get GIBBS, we may not, but I will still back my Vols. As to turning over the recruiting roster, I think Jones and staff do a good job of finding players that meet THEIR standards for what they are looking for, not what a FAN board of star watchers is looking at. That said if 10 ***** players decided to commit a few days before NSD and Jones thought they would fit his player mold better than the *** already committed then l am fine with him dropping the***'s. College football is a multimillion dollar business and sometimes things are ruthless, it would be sad for the ***'s dropped, but if the *****'s fit our style of play and give us a better chance to win so be it. Also, some of you freaking out about players from TN we missed on, it has happened for years. Some players are better suited for 3-4 defense, some for a 4-3. Some QB's are mobile QB's others pocket passers, if your offense is geared to mobile QB style of play the a pocket passer is not going to be recruited to hard. Then do not forget that the recruits look at depth charts to see where they stand the best chance to play early. Our secondary is pretty deep right now, I think UGA's is thin. Just because we want a kid does not mean he wants us. GBO
