It did actually. That 2018 class was looking really good until the worst season in ut history. Had guys like Trey dean, mays, Martinez, Horn, lyn-j Dixon, etc in the foldPeople keep saying this, but intern Jones' draft where we put 6 in the league including a first rounder in DB didn't help us in recruiting at all.
We should start seeing draft picks this year. I think a lot of people are underestimating where Warrior, Bituli, and Callaway will end up going in this draft. It did actually. Smith is a wildcard. I don't know of any other similar situations to compare it to. In some ways it's less risky than drafting a player coming off a bad injury because he's playing at a high level, but at the same time you can't ignore the fact the issue could come back and he might never play again.Smith?
He is so good that they will not let him get picked up by another team when the time comes, meaning first couple of picks, IMO.Smith is a wildcard. I just cannot understand why he would even be visiting them. What is going on here? First Rogers, then Rybka, and now Calloway is considering flipping to them? What the crap?
I think there’s a guy on the chargers that has a similar condition and is doing well. That’s why there’s some confidence that Trey could go round 1 if the medical checks are goodSmith is a wildcard. Projected at this time Andrew Thomas from UGA, Tristan Wirfs of Iowa and Jedrick Wills of Bama. Never know what happens after the Combine. But Trey would be HEAVILY evaluated by teams medical consultants. My question to you was top 3 in the DRAFT. No way on that Chase Young, Derrick Brown, Cee Dee Lamb and whichever QBs shine on their Pro Day along with the OL previously stated all should go before he even gets listed as “best of the rest.Is there a better OL out there?
When is the last time we had a visit from him or heard anything good in regards to our staff being in contact? I know we like looking at stars but I wonder if he is a git shirt...
Calloway is an absolute must get.
He projects as a WR, and has been dominant when playing it...
It ABSOLUTELY does matter. We need playmakers at WR. Him and Hyatt could be a terrific tandem. Can't lose this kid...
