'20 GA ATH Jimmy Calloway (UT SIGNEE)

People keep saying this, but intern Jones' draft where we put 6 in the league including a first rounder in DB didn't help us in recruiting at all.
It did actually. That 2018 class was looking really good until the worst season in ut history. Had guys like Trey dean, mays, Martinez, Horn, lyn-j Dixon, etc in the fold

We should start seeing draft picks this year. I think a lot of people are underestimating where Warrior, Bituli, and Callaway will end up going in this draft.

Tbf, nothing about KY's schedule screams contender. Gonna end with more wins but looking at the opponents, it hardly justifies stealing recruits.

Smith is a wildcard. I don't know of any other similar situations to compare it to. In some ways it's less risky than drafting a player coming off a bad injury because he's playing at a high level, but at the same time you can't ignore the fact the issue could come back and he might never play again.

He is so good that they will not let him get picked up by another team when the time comes, meaning first couple of picks, IMO.

I just cannot understand why he would even be visiting them. What is going on here? First Rogers, then Rybka, and now Calloway is considering flipping to them? What the crap?

Spending their basketball money in other places. Don’t think it will payoff for them. If I am CJP, I tell guys not to make a second visit if they want a spot. Main reason is you probably are losing them anyway if they have that much interest.

You talking top 3 in the draft? No way!

I think there’s a guy on the chargers that has a similar condition and is doing well. That’s why there’s some confidence that Trey could go round 1 if the medical checks are good

Is there a better OL out there?
Projected at this time Andrew Thomas from UGA, Tristan Wirfs of Iowa and Jedrick Wills of Bama. Never know what happens after the Combine. But Trey would be HEAVILY evaluated by teams medical consultants. My question to you was top 3 in the DRAFT. No way on that Chase Young, Derrick Brown, Cee Dee Lamb and whichever QBs shine on their Pro Day along with the OL previously stated all should go before he even gets listed as “best of the rest.

Won’t matter when we land Washington, Baron, Dennis, Toll, Henderson, Kaho.

Calloway is an absolute must get.

He projects as a WR, and has been dominant when playing it...

It ABSOLUTELY does matter. We need playmakers at WR. Him and Hyatt could be a terrific tandem. Can't lose this kid...

When is the last time we had a visit from him or heard anything good in regards to our staff being in contact? I know we like looking at stars but I wonder if he is a git shirt...

Git shirt???
This guy is one of the highest climbers in the recruiting databases. UGA and OU are after him...

We have exactly two 4 star WRs committed. Him being one of them, and you wonder if he's a git shirt?

I wouldn't say must get as WR's are a dime a dozen at a commoditized position. A pass rushing Edge/DL and some depth at LB is more of a MUST have in this class.

We also have some major talent instate at WR in next years class so its a position I'm not as concerned about at this point. The concern is the optics of losing a recruit to UK.
