Yes, but I believe we can structure the timing of those scholarship reductions as we see fit. We don't necessarily HAVE to take them as a reduction of 2 scholarships per year. We could take 0 reductions this year and then 4 next year, for example.
Ordinarily I would agree with you. However, you might consider doing it because we're going to be losing a very high number of players (particularly on the offensive and defensive lines) next year.Right, but you really don't want to do that. Why would we hamstring ourselves further down the road...especially when we'll be recruiting at a higher level then because Heupel will have strung together more success?
But yes, we can allocate those losses as we see fit over the next 5 (was it 5?) years?
I suppose. I think the more likely tactic will be to spread out the reductions and cull the herd next year. The transfer portal works both ways and there are some guys on this team who don’t project to make an impact anytime soon.Ordinarily I would agree with you. It’s too early to say what we are going to lose in the trenches. Campbell, Spraggins, Mays, and Mincey can all come back. So can Omari, Norman-Lott, Simmons, Eason, Bailey, and Baron.Ordinarily I would agree with you. Plus Crawford per LWSVOL thread. It’s too early to say what we are going to lose in the trenches. Campbell, Spraggins, Mays, and Mincey can all come back. So can Omari, Norman-Lott, Simmons, Eason, Bailey, and Baron.
I don’t know if any of those are slam dunk draft picks. Baron seems to be playing himself into the draft.
The only contributors that will have exhausted their eligibility are Lane, Harrison, and Garland.
We probably lose 2-3. I’d imagine Campbell and Spraggins bounce. Probably Mays tooIt’s too early to say what we are going to lose in the trenches. Campbell, Spraggins, Mays, and Mincey can all come back. So can Omari, Norman-Lott, Simmons, Eason, Bailey, and Baron.

Mincey could be THE guy. But ive got a feeling there is some immaturity there. Crawford needs to play G.It’s too early to say what we are going to lose in the trenches. Campbell, Spraggins, Mays, and Mincey can all come back. So can Omari, Norman-Lott, Simmons, Eason, Bailey, and Baron.
