Really convinced Pappoe is just kind of an attention whore who wants to drag this out and drum up attention. The recent Auburn thing and now Vol is just noise to bring higher attention to his commitment since he has seemed like a UGA commit for a long time.

But hey get excited over unfounded rumors.

Now that makes sense as to why his jimmies are so rustled. Pappoe is the only one, of the four Grayson kids announcing May 1st, that might pick UGA. The other three are all going out of state. Ouch.

I don't know anything about Pappoe's upcoming decision, but I'm sure Pruitt will sign some very good defensive players. No point in being dismissive about UT recruiting on defense, because you know they'll get talent and use it well. I expect plenty of heated head to head recruiting battles between UGA and UT in the future. Hopefully at Auburn and Bama's expense.

I can’t remember which thread I mentioned it in, but a guy closely tied to UT recruiting and has known most of this current recruiting class since they were in middle school (and talks to OP regularly) doesn’t see UGA or AU sticking if UT gained some momentum. Doesn’t think his heart is really there. It’s all subjective, obviously, but it dovetails with whatever ATLVol is hearing.

Good question, I’ve wondered myself. He has just quit growing. If he didn’t, he would’ve be the #1 player, athletic to no end. He’s not overrated as far as he is a freak athletically wise. Insane Sparq numbers.

IIRC, UT was the early leader for Pappoe, correct? I think he’s always liked UT.
