Yes I am usually very negative about recruiting. Honestly, the Auburn win really changed my mind about Pappoe. Not only that, but I feel like we are imoroving and recruits are taking notice. Pappoe has had interest in us for a long time. I believe now that we have a real football coach, a recruit like Pappoe is ready to get on board with the good guys.

Yes I am usually very negative about recruiting. Honestly, the Auburn win really changed my mind about Pappoe. Not only that, but I feel like we are imoroving and recruits are taking notice. Pappoe has had interest in us for a long time. I believe now that we have a real football coach, a recruit like Pappoe is ready to get on board with the good guys.

We have been doing intervention with BOT. He is taking baby steps. (please watch "what about Bob" movie) He just took a huge step in that post so lets all be supportive. Noting but positive vibes.

Such a fantastic comedy. One of the few movies that makes me laugh out loud during just about every single scene. Brilliant film.

I don't know a ton about recruiting... I only started following it less than a year ago. What is making us confident in getting his commitment?

Follow it long enough and you’ll note that when someone is committed to a school, the CB’s will reflect that. Insider activity gets ratcheted up when they DECOMMIT. UGA was a favorite for him before he verballed to Auburn. CB’s for Wanya Morris were all over the chart before he picked us. They had just started to pile up for UT the weekend before when he didn’t make the Auburn official.

He grew up a Tennessee fan and a few years ago UT was the favorite. Then Butch Jones didn't win enough games and with him being an elite recruit the other big programs made better sales pitches. But he's visited UT many many times over the years, including a time or two since Pruitt was hired. He knows Pruitt and most of our coaches from when they recruited him to Auburn, UF, UGA and Bama. Relationships matter most in recruiting. Our staff has been recruiting him for years and that didn't stop the day they arrived in Knoxville. His good friend Wayna Morris is a Vol and rumors he's not that happy with Auburn these days. The more games Auburn loses this fall the more likely he ends up elsewhere and UT would have a VERY good chance to land him if he chooses to not be a tiger.

Also, it seems UGA and Owen have mostly moved on from each other from what UGA posters have said, IIRC.
