Lol, players not getting paid is the biggest sham in the world today. Like not controlling your likeness is crazy. It would be like you have an academic scholarship for computer engineering and was charged with creating apps but couldn’t profit from it. They can’t have jobs.

Coaches get millions to coach and when they suck, they get millions to leave! And literally you say they get a free education in exercise science or communications. Josh Dobbs is the exception not the standard because he was brilliant. Just like your life, the players should get paid what someone is willing to pay them. If dish network and pilot wanted to fund our entire team they could but legally and without runners and they could endorse those products.

I am not saying I don't agree with you, but if college players get paid then they are not amateur athletes and so should not be student athletes. CFB should just become a farm club system for the NFL and not provide scholarships. Pay the kids and if they want to get a college education while playing in the farm club system then they can pay full tuition in-state or out-of-state full tuitions same as everyone else. If not, then they are out of luck if they can't make the NFL, as most want to do. So IMO, the way it is set up now still is in the best interest of the players because they do get that opportunity to get a good free education and the opportunity to be successful if they don't make it to the NFL.

I would not disagree. Malzahn has to win 3 of remaining games, or he by most accounts is gone. That means beating TAM, Liberty and UGA - a very tall order. Key to OP with Auburn is LB Coach Travis Williams. If he and Kevin Steele remain, Pappoe may stick with AU. If not, I see him in a Vols uniform next year.
