'20 GA ATH/RB Tank Bigsby (Auburn)

UGA doesn’t even use the backs they have great. Kendall Milton is a 5 star rotting on the bench and Zamir Whit barely outpaced Jabari Small even with carrying the ball 20+ more times behind a better OL. Tank would put up way better numbers with us than UGA.

UGA also has James and Robinson coming in. Would love to pull Tank.

This would be a HUGE ADDITION if we could land him. He was always my first choice if he entered the portal, but when we discussed a few weeks ago it was just rumors and speculation.

Now that it's official much prefer him over Gibbs from GT, or Evans from TCU.... Plus we finished 2nd for Tank coming out of HS.

Tank still has eligibility????? Never would have guessed it.

Why not? Having an M1A2 Abrams in the Heup offense within the redzone would be a surefire TD.

I’m not going to get my hopes up. He’s probably looking to get paid, which we won’t do.

I’m just shocked that with the elite offensive system we put on display in Year 1 with a not very talented team that we can’t land one of these portal studs. Sure hope this is the one that proves me wrong.

Seems a bit early for such an overreaction. At a minimum we know one of the elite offensive transfers has met with our staff, and one elite defensive transfer was just on campus. Given there’s only been about 5 big name offensive guys in the portal so far, I think your panic is premature.

Hooker just announced he’s back too which could be a big factor for some of these elite play makers

A big physical back in an uptempo spread offense is brutal on a defense. They’ve already got you spread out so you have smaller players on the field trying to tackle him. They’re going up tempo so you’re having to tackle him every 20 seconds and physically wearing down faster. It’s miserable.

Yep. It can literally break a defense's will.

I appreciate the job Small did this year. He played hurt most of the season. Shoulder injury is very painful. That said, he'd really benefit from Vols having a bigger, more physical back.
