'20 GA ATH/RB Tank Bigsby (Auburn)

Yep he didn’t do it on purpose. Bama player took advantage of Tanks momentum going one way and pulled him out. Tank was trying to cut inside to stay in bounds.

It would be like saying you don’t want Pig because he costs us the SC game. Both guys were trying to make a play that would’ve won the game and it backfired. If he would’ve got the first down that he was fighting for, they would have won. What really impressed me was the awareness of the Bama player to drag him out

UGA game. Never forget.

I appreciate the job Small did this year. He played hurt most of the season. Shoulder injury is very painful. That said, he'd really benefit from Vols having a bigger, more physical back.
Yep, Jabari seems like a sweet kid, and a pretty good back, but he needs to be the “2” in a 1-2 punch, imo.

If we got Tank….I don’t want to get ahead of myself, but with Hendon, Tank, pretty good group at tight end and maybe Tillman coming back we’re looking very, very strong offensively. I’m wondering that IF we got tank we’re not looking at a pretty preseason high ranking. I’m also wondering if the fact that Ole Miss finishing the regular season in the top 10 would potentially entice voters to put us higher since we would have very similar circumstances.

I’m worried that the stars will align on offense, but we’ll narrowly miss on getting the players we need on defense to be competitive and look back on a 9-10 win season knowing we might have competed for a championship with a better defense.

It’s a nice worry to have after the dismal Pruitt years, GBO!

I think it's very likely that we are ranked next year with or without Tank. Especially if we close out with an 8th win against Purdue. You know the SEC will get it's standard 6-7 pre-season ranked teams, and outside of Alabama, Georgia, and Texas A&M, can you see any team in the SEC clearly and unequivocally better than us even on paper? We'll probably be 22-25 in the first poll this summer.

The Great Harsin, as portrayed by a few, will get to show off his elite coaching skills next year in the SEC.

He will be Mullen’d. He tried pulling same stunt hoping to get out of town. Players see that stuff. As soon as adversity hits next year they will tank knowing coach isn’t all in.

Ole Miss and Kentucky will be pre-season top 25 along with the 3 you mentioned. Then I would say the other two likely pre-season ranked teams would be Arkansas and Tennessee.

On paper I would say we are in the same ball park as Ole Miss and Kentucky. Clearly the offseason is very fresh and rosters will likely continue to change through the start of summer.

It will probably be:

#1 Alabama
#3 Georgia
#11 Texas A&M
#13 Ole Miss
#15 Arkansas
#18 Kentucky
#23 Tennessee

Or something to that effect.

The one were he stretched out for the end zone and fumbled out the back? Could’ve swore that was SC. Did something similar happen during a SC game?
Definitely UGA. I was watching on my phone during a wedding and had to withhold my desired emotional outburst.

Honestly, I hope we're not ranked. Get that good underdog / no respect vibe going.

If Nick Saban can sell to Bryce Young that he got "no respect" and he is "an underdog" (according to Bryce's Heisman speech) than Heupel can sell a #23 ranking as being not respected. I hope we're ranked. It's good for recruiting.

I agree that we will be ranked with or without Tank. I think it’s entirely possible we could be ranked in the top 20. We could have a top 2-3 QB in the conference returning, potentially the best back and a WR that has had a breakout year and played his best ball against 4 of the toughest teams in the SEC.
