I don't pay a whole lot of attention to offer lists, because we don't know whether they're actually commitable offers or not. When our main competition for this guy is Nc State, that tells me OSU, UGA and Bama aren't that serious about him. In Beasley's case, he just flat out didn't show to have any sort of offer to the above mentioned programs. I definitely trust Pruitt and the staff's judgement, but I'm personally not going to get fired up and pretend like a player is the next Deion Sanders like a lot of other folks on here when a fairly low ranked player in the state of Georgia decides to commit to Tennessee. I take a wait and see approach, unlike a lot of you.

This. Hope he’s the next Cam Sutton, but odds are he’s a solid ACC talent. That being said, we’re currently running C-USA cornerbacks through the T so signing Burrell would make us better.

The next Deion Sanders?? Good grief. And I thought I was a negative Nancy. Dude you take the cake.

Does anyone know what WR it was that Burrell was jamming in the video? I know Blaylock (UGA 5*) was there.

Our main competition is Florida. They've put one or two DBs in the NFL before.

Who on earth is acting like this kid is the next Deion Sanders? Good grief.

This I know from being an MSU alum and Mississippi resident... much of Mullen’s success hinges on his ability to find diamonds in the rough and cornerback and his ability to develop QBs. He likes the taller guys with smooth movement and long arms ala Pruitt. We’ll be competing with Florida for corners a lot on the recruiting trail

"This mofo right here gonna be a lockdown don't care bout them stars."

"His tape is sauce...5 star."

"Bet this guy ends up being a top 3 CB in this class."

"That's the best jam I've seen since D Revis."

Now I hope this guy is and will be all of these things, but I'd say at least a few comments here are a stretch.

I stand by my 5 star comment. Tape, offers, and stats back it up. He was 1st team all state in 7A Georgia high school football. He dominates in camps. I don’t know what else he could do to impress the recruiting services, but their rating of him as a three star is bs

He's a 4-star on rivals... and that's where he should be... 5 star corners are Patrick Peterson mold... sub-4.4 40's with length, jam ability, backpedal, hip turn, and ball skills... from what I saw he's only a missing a couple of those tools (4.5 40 and he wasn't thrown to enough to demonstrate ball skills)

I suppose I’m projecting what level he could reach based on being coached by Pruitt and fair. But yeah right now he should be a 4 star for sure

Evidently not, since he's nowhere close to being a 5 star on any recruiting service. I guess you think you're a better talent evaluator than a lot of these services are.

Honest question. If he's not good enough, why do you think CJP offered him? I would think he would only give commitable offers to players he knew could help us.

If Pruitt observes Washington and Burrell at camp and he picks Burrell, I’m with Pruitt. I don’t care what Woody Womack thinks about them.

Yep. I don’t rely on others’ opinions on something as subjective as a recruit’s star rating. There’s no reason this guy shouldn’t be at least a 4 star.

Those are all much different things than calling a kid Deion 2.0.

Yeah, I'm certainly not an expert talent evaluator, but that is definitely not a 3* offer list.

Alot of them are reporters and have no business being considered as elite talent evaluators.I trust our coaches eyes over any of the so called experts.

Of course. I don't trust Scvol or whatever his name is evaluations. He comes off as someone who's probably never played a down of football.
