Might want to reconsider for the time being. We really wanted Taiwan Palmer last year and the kid chose NC State over us. Think there was another kid who did the same as well.

I wonder where ole Boring Dorean ends up ? Its obvious he is raising expectations for the Wolfpack. He will have a good job in next couple years Im sure. Still glad we got Pruit instead of him tho.

Never heard of him. We went 4-8 and probably lost recruits to Vandy as well. Those days are over. Nobody who is serious about competing at the highest level is going to NC State.

Palmer was the only one I recall UT and NCST actually fighting over, but they also added former UT commit Tanner Ingle to their 2018 class.

Don't understand the people who don't view NCST as actual threats when it comes to recruiting DBs. They do a good job recruiting and coaching those guys.

Would’ve been bummed if we had hired him...we’d have been settling imo. That being said, in retrospect his hire didn’t warrant the mini-Schiano displayed at the basketball game that had screaming students being body-slammed. Never been prouder of our fanbase when we said no to Ohio State’s DC, but the Doeren debacle was embarrassing. It resulted in us being on the record as being rejected by HIM.

He underachieved big-time last year with a roster loaded with NFL players. The only reason he's having some recruiting success right now is because of the 7 players drafted, not actual on-field results, because 8-4 last year was a disappointment for sure with the roster he had.

Four more years of boring meh crap would have destroyed this program for good. Whether or not we can even recover now with Pruitt is still way up in the air. I believe Pruitt will give it all he has, but if he fails I think I will have to go with LWS and say that the days of UT as a legit major power are gone the way of the Dodo.

He recruited those players that went to the NFL and coached them up obviously well. It’s NC State. :hmm:
