Rivals has him as a 4*, and he's a pretty high 3 on the 247 composite. 247 ranking is pretty low. not sure when it was last updated. but yeah, definite 4* offer list.

i'm sure as summer goes along, if he camps, and has a good season, he'll probably wind up consensus 4*.

I remember his team one state last year over JJ Peterson team, even though JJ should have sealed it with that sack.

Warren Burrell will be at Tennessee for his first official visit. He is set to be at Florida next weekend, then at NC State later in the month. Some feel the Vols may have the edge and Jeremy Pruitt and his staff have really made Burrell feel like a priority. A decision is likely to be made in July, so Tennessee hopes to set the bar very high this weekend with official visit No. 1 for Burrell.

The Vols have made a strong run at the 6-foot, 170-pound defensive back, as Burrell has really bonded with both Jeremy Pruitt and Terry Fair and has now been on campus three times this spring.

Tennessee still faces competition for Burrell, though, as the corner will take an OV to Florida next weekend and is also slated to visit Penn State and NC State this summer. Georgia, Notre Dame and Auburn are right in the mix for the cornerback, too.
