Agree this is a long shot, probably not going to happen. But this is the type of player we need to actually turn us around. If we get a Pappoe, Wright, Marshall, or this kid to flip I will be optimistic on Pruitt handling his business.
Right now I’m just disappointed he allowed us to go down the way we did to finish the year. If we all felt our guys laid it on the field and lost that’s one thing, but that same nauseating feeling of half our guys quit again doesn’t sit well.

...5-star hearts really giving their all...
The systemic attitude only gets cut out through recruiting championship-caliber players.
I said it in another post ...
Mike Ditka, in his first year with the Bears, told them good news and bad news after a practice.
Good news--we gonna take da Bears to da Super Bowl in 3-4 years...
Bad news--half of ya gonna be gone by that time...
Same thing needs to happen here.
This is the worst Tennessee Roster of players I've seen in my lifetime--Even worse than '77-'79 teams...

CB to Bama @Tidal Surge
College doesnt have a draft or trades. Takes much longer in college.
Well, you could draw a comparison in college recruiting to the NFL draft. The principle is to bring in the best talent hungry to go after the golden ring.
Ditka and the Bears drafted quite well....The '83 draft was absolutely lights out for them... 6 of their first 8 draft picks were solid gold...I had to look it up, but they got Richard Dent in the 8th round--the 203rd pick of that draft. Just completely mind-boggling.
But more importantly, they got Covert, Thayer, and Bortz to anchor their OL. Ditka had to get HIS PLAYERS...
The same is TRUE for CJP. Those guys on here trashing CJP are just completely stupid. It's NOT surprising that a lot of CBJ's recruits laid down in games--they didn't commit to CJP or his process. You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it drink. I have no doubt that CJP and crew made every effort to lead this bunch to the water. We'll find out a few years down the line who were the quitters. It always seems to come out.
CJP knows what he is doing and what it takes from players to become champions.
He will/has shot it straight all along the way so far--with his players, us fans, and the media.
He will get his guys who will submit to his process and build a championship team.
Even CPF doesn't know what it takes to do that--he inherited CJM's players, but at least they believed in him and followed him (with a HUGE assist from Cutcliffe.
CJP's recruits will do the same.
That's my opinion....GO VOLS!
The other CB to Bama was by Shannon Terry, not Tim Watts. I sense that some of Terry's picks are made to promote suspense and clicks. Newberg had put in a flip pick to FSU a few months ago. That isn't happening, he can't pick UGA because he's already commited there, and Bama has a slight chance, so it makes sense to pick Bama instead of sticking with FSU.Saw this as well with both Tim Watts and Josh Newberg both putting in CBs to UA. Have yet to anything from an interview after his visit besides being there with 2 of his team mates that we expect in the class. I still say UGA.
