Do we have any math geniuses around to look at who we are in the top 3-5 with and give us mathematical odds of likelihood we land some percentage of that list? It seems like we can’t fully predict it, but we can come up with a likely number of commits we have a high percentage of landing. I am too uneducated to know how to do these things. Just tell me to shut up and go post gifs if this is dumb.

I don't know that the psychology of high school kids' decision-making is susceptible to mathematical analysis. It still comes down to premises -- what an individual believes about a specific kid.

Come on Bass man. We are gonna finish strong but we arent getting all those guys.

The new rule by the NCAA "an expected next step" allows any player to transfer and does require permission from the current program. Does not matter if grad transfer or not. Still have to sit out a year if not a grad transfer but can not be blocked.
Dude? Google Brandon Kennedy. No more blocking grad transfers in the SEC.

Edit: Dude? Misunderstood your post...apologies.

Since you asked...

Assuming the following percentages (my guesses, pitch in y'all if you want...)

Wright - 90%
Pappoe - 75%
Gray - 75%
Watson - 40%
Haselwood - 30%
Crouch - 30%
To'oto'o - 10%
Eboigbe - 10%
Smith - 5%
Emery - 0.1% (I know he committed, but I'll leave a tiny sliver of hope here)

Here's what I get:

P(1+ commits) = 99.9%
P(2+ commits) = 98.6%
P(3+ commits) = 90.1%
P(4+ commits) = 68.6%
P(5+ commits) = 37.1%
P(6+ commits) = 12.8%
P(7+ commits) = 2.7%
P(8+ commits) < 0.001%

Wasting time or not there is only positives that come from top player in country visiting and you never know once they are here. Either way it gets others attention that they should visit too if the top guy is visiting

Agreed. There is nothing negative about Smith visiting.
