'19 GA DL Justin Eboigbe (Bama signee)

Misplaced anger?? Didn’t you guarantee Hugh Freeze to the hill? Or Keller Chryst was better than JG? Don’t get mad when I expose you for the fraud you are.
Lol i guessed Freeze to the hill like about 20 other media people. I also was one of the first people to say he was a real candidate, people were against the hire, some other dirt was found etc. also told y’all Gattis was going to Maryland, Drinkwitz and Enos weren’t real candidates, mentioned Tyson Helton leaving about a month before he left... do you want me to keep going or is that enough.

Also...Neither QB was really good at all so was anyone really right? It’s called having an opinion on certain players. Sometimes people are right sometimes they are wrong. But let’s not act like the gap was joe montana to Matt simms. You would know that if you actually watched instead of just keeping up on gamecast.

The way you are treated here has directed me to carefully evaluate my posts on rival forums. I have learned a lot in how your posts are viewed here. Whether you troll or don't, I won't mistreat. I may ignore people but won't slander. Words are powerful tools and I won't use them as weapons. I will say you are very patient and I respect that. I know first hand how difficult it is when a fanbase is drowning in the kool-aid not to project reality to them in a way that will come off as insulting. Sometimes it is impossible not to come off that way and I just don't speak at all. Keep posting. The point-of-view is healthy, although not always accepted.
I like where your thoughts are at but still disagree. I took up for Surge when we first interacted and am more welcoming to opposing fans than many. Secking, heleigh gator (fairly certain I spelled that wrong) and tide warrior are some examples.

But butchna was spot on. Surge was very insulting on another board towards people he acted as a friend to, here.
Enough so that he changed that post when he realized it was known . I expect smack talk on other boards, just not a fan of the two-faced approach.

Anyone that read enough of his posts also just realized the theme. There's no such thing as every time but the OVERWHELMING majority are what I suggested.
The gist - you got a good one for you guys. Bama chose someone better.

That's the case at times, but sometimes we actually do win a recruiting battle. His approach isn't 'keeping it real', it's smug and condescending. Would rather him be mad and tell is that he hopes the kid transfers, over the very disingenuous approach he takes. But, when you add it all up, disingenuous is the sum of his entire time here.

You misrepresent what you said...and changed after you “got called out for it”. You were a real prick over at (what you thought was) your safe space. Why else would you change it?
I admitted back then that those two posts were out of line and too disrespectful. My bad -- and that''s why I edited those posts to tone them down. And in the first place, I wasn't talking about all VN posters. I felt that a lot of VN posters were being way too optimistic prematurely. And that's how I should've said it, instead of in such a disrespectful way.

My point in those posts was that I felt 2019-class recruiting results would depend a lot on how much progress and resulting momentum Pruitt achieved over the course of the season. But, that's a tough dilemma. To achieve fast rebuild progress, he has to develop current players and land better players. But it's pretty difficult to land top players without showing some progress first. And selling recruits on a rebuild situation is even harder if the HC has no history of rebuilding or improving a program.

Pruitt started with no head coaching track record or experience at all, and with a roster that wasn't well loaded. He also had to do a culture overhaul and get buy-in from the players on that roster. Imo, the situation he faces is a very challenging rebuild scenario. Initially, it's a "catch 22" dilemma that's tough to overcome. How long it takes to get over that hump remains to be seen. Coach Pruitt and his staff are working hard to pull it off. Tbh, I truly hope they do.

As I've said before, it's not my belief that UT can't beat Bama for recruits or has to settle for recruits who are lower on Bama's board. JJ Peterson, Wood-Anderson and Darnell Wright indeed prove otherwise. Bama loses a lot of recruiting battles and I have no problem admitting it when they do.

If you, chargervol and others choose to perceive this post or my others as being condescending or passive-aggressive trolling, and continue your mission to convince others they are, that's your perogative. But that's not my mindset or intent.

“Vols went in-home with Eboigbe this week but he opted to take OV to Miami and not Tennessee this weekend. He's scheduled to take final OV at Alabama next weekend.”

Shut’er down.

Miami?? My word! Why is it so hard to see where the dumpster fires are? They went 7-5 in a year that they were preseason top 10 and play in a weak conference minus one team.

Because he's going to bama. Free visit in December and you have to choose between Knoxville and Miami. Miami's the easy choice on weather alone.

He was always a long shot, not too surprising.

Not looking forward to the freakouts during ESP when we only get one or two guys. At least three of our major targets are waiting till February, so I'm not all that worried yet.

We will have a solid class. Hard to FLIP anyone from Bama these days.
No legit recruit who could play and perform at a championship level for Alabama would consider coming to lowly Tennessee right now. That should be beyond evident at this point.

Its gonna be a freak out regardless. If we dont sign a top 10 class, many will say Pruitt is a failure and not the guy.

I married into a family of Tide fans, as a Vol fan beer helps me... just post whatever your opinion is and drink your preferred beverage and then responses become more entertaining. Nothing you nor any poster on here says is worth getting truly upset over since it’s merely speculation and opinion.

That’s not the most important thing right now.... he needs to have a very limited amount of misses while getting a couple stars.....get us beating the ones we should regularly and competitive with the rest of the league....then recruiting should ramp up to hopefully a championship level...last years class the majority seem to be going to be good contributors.... the ones I question the most were committed to butch.

I figure he has been pretty solid Bama since he committed. If you were just going for the party scene, where would you go Miami or K-ville? I'd probably go to Miami if all expenses were paid. Just sayin'.

Not going to give you a "like" cause your a dang bama boy, but you hit the nail on the head on this entire response.

What's your thoughts on UGA pulling in all these high recruits? Kirby? Bags o' cash? Fertile recruiting grounds? I understand Bama doing this with Saban, but never expected it with Kirby.

Enjoy your run with Saban, cause as soon as he passes ol Bear, he's going to retire, and ya'll are going to blow snot...

;)
