Was holding out hope that Baker knew something. Apparently he doesn’t. DL recruiting sucks this cycle. Hope Harrison really is the diamond in the rough type guy

It’s all jucos with the exception of Harrison and Cox and Cox may not end up in this class. Clemons won’t be in this class.

I like the upside of the guys we have (those expected to sign with us, at least), but we don’t seem to have many instant impact type guys coming in on the DL. It’s too bad Williams and Middleton aren’t EEs. That would be huge for the DL going into 2019.

this is where i am. i don't think it's "bad". it's just not great, and it lacks the "wanya" type guy that you could build around. Bogle or Eboigbe could be that.

Ok I'm pretty much there too but I like the jucos (especially Williams) and we had a few redshirt last year. Numbers won't be a problem, we need the coaches to do their thing though.

agree on the #'s. we have that.

just a lot of ?'s on what they will wind up being. i agree on Williams, i think he's got a chance to be really good. and the guys that RS this year, we just don't know. Emerson i think will come back from his "year off" healthy, and if he gets any development, he, i think, will turn in to a good one.

i'm not all doom and gloom on the DL.

we just don't have anyone that you would consider a difference maker right now, and no one in this class that you could call that and build around for the future.

i agree with you in that developing what we have is going to be more important.

the DL as a whole though is just a big 'ol question mark.

Yeah I like the young guys like Mincey. We know Gooden will be great in the middle. We need Emerson to be what he was hyped to be coming out of high school. I trust this staff to develop the guys. Thankfully we still have D. Taylor also
