Yeah we need to make up for lost years on some of our rivals that we had a winning record against previously. Florida is high up on that list of consecutive ass beatings we owe.

Much as I dislike Alabama and want to beat them every year, I have a healthy respect for the Third Saturday in October rivalry. There’s history and generational tradition there. It would be fun if both of those teams are really good for the next 20 years and that’s one of the biggest games in America each year.

But I don’t care about the Florida rivalry. I just wanna beat them. If they suck for 20 years and we run off 20 straight on them and it becomes no bigger than the Vandy game, I’m great with that.

It only helps us if they lose two if they beat us? You think MS State is going to beat them? Theres no joy in beating them if they’ve already lost to Florida. How about rooting for two undefeated teams, Gameday in Athens, John Bell from Widespread Panic as the guest picker and a VOLS win over the number 1 team in the country in Sanford?

I think it's better for Florida to have nothing to build on than UGA dropping a game. Heupels job will be easier if Napier never gets footing at Florida. Us getting into the SEC championship game will come down to the head 2 head matchup. UGA wouldn't beat us and then drop 2 other games with what's remaining.

Agreed. A coach only gets to use the “we suck and that’s why we need you to come in and play early” once. I want them to use it this year for recruiting and see if they can make the jump to 10 wins year 2.
