If Solomon does get eligible, I just hope he turns out to be at least a good DLineman. He's been built up like he is a stud DLineman by some. It would be really disappointing if he ended up a dud.

So hubbs knows there has been some significant talks with the ncaa yesterday( confirmed by Atl) which just happens to be the same day Pruitt says they are proceeding as if he’s going to play this week.

if there's any good news, we don't necessarily have to have him this week. he's still practicing like he's going to play for the most part.....so if made eligible at any point in the next two weeks, he will be ready for BYU....or UTC...or UF......if it gets that far in the season w/out word......................then i'll assume he's not going to be able to play.

I think Pruitt announced that a long time ago. I don't think they tried to appeal it. They knew it wouldn't get approved. Just submitted it in case it worked.

He knew when he transferred that he was going to sit. They planned on a RS year and would have been pleasantly shocked if things went otherwise.

Probably for the best anyways, if he stays at WR we’re gonna need him next year once these upperclass men leave. No sense in waisting a year of eligibility when he likely wouldn’t get much PT.

Always felt it was for the best anyway. Sit a year and train for the new position...prolly would have helped him at UGA.
