Until he publicly commits and stops taking visits (especially to UGA) I think it’s premature to consider him “in the boat” regardless of what he’s verbally told Spyre.

IMO he’s shopping our offer. My guess is he’ll want UGA to come close enough. I don’t have a guess as to whether they will.

The rumor from Georgia’s side is they are selling him hard on the idea he can play the Jack position on defense (like mykel Williams) for them whereas what Mr.Peabody alluded to is we see him more as a SDE. So that could come into play here as well.

Honestly they are going to play DE in the NFL anyway so it really doesn’t matter in the grand scheme..
