People need to stop responding to recruits posts with negative comments, but if this is the type of response his mother is going to post on social media, probably for the best he isn’t a Vol. Not sure telling someone to “F Off” in the public social media square is the best culture fit here.

Where does society go from here? All sides are infected by the social media bug. The players, the fans, the parents, etc that the collision course is inevitable. It's clearly not just a sports issue though.

2 things:

1. It's a long way until December
2. The transfer portal exists.

Any kid that turns us down now may still be an option in a year or two. Make a good impression, don't burn bridges, and if things aren't what they thought they were, they will still have our staff's number.

I’m just going to say it’s classless and ignorant to make comments like this on social media addressing someone heckling your kid. The program treated the kid well, offered him great opportunities here. Hope it works out for them on the other side of the country. Just never intelligent to burn bridges or show that you’re dumb enough to respond to any negativity on social media.
