You confident we get these two? Seems like Okoye has been gaining interest and momentum from other schools lately-- Hopefully since we seem to have pushed first and still stay positive and in contact that we win at the finish line. Really wish we can get Ross Okoye and Cole... Sounds like Wingo is gone for the pure money...

This isn't pee-wee football. College coaches aren't dealing with parental bs. It could result in some kids hitting the portal because they listen to their parent's bs. But....you are basing your opinion of his mom on a Twitter interaction, which I admit showed some level of immaturity. You will actually see that a lot from moms who feel their babies are being attacked in some way. That doesn't make them hard to deal with. Most mature adults just choose to ignore their a$$.

Most players do care about academics, the folks that act like most don’t care about them are just plain wrong and not well informed. Tennessee athletes are doing very well over all and at most schools the majority of athletes are doing good in academics. Of course they will be a few that struggle and a few that don’t put in enough effort. But with NIL around now I think for many students that aren’t automatic 1st rounders the incentive to take advantage of NIL and getting a degree is a lot. We tend to act like all these college players are going pro when in fact the majority are not going pro. And then out of the ones that do, a great portion of them will play less than 5 years in the pro’s. Anyone that gets a free ride to college would be crazy not to at least get close enough to their degree to get able to go back and finish out.GBO!!!!!

I think she might come around to preferring UT for her son and for herself. She was sold on LA and the West Coast, as it appears, and a couple weeks later she finds out there was an agreement already worked out but not shared with her family, and their plan for her is going to feature winter weekends in Minnesota, Michigan, Iowa, and New Jersey.

Our staff have to look like great people and straight-shooters by now. She might be proud of her son snd credit him with good intuition, if he did always want to play in Neyland in the brightest lights and the best league in America. Nothing wrong with taking a second look.

If idiot fans( grown men) would stay off her sons social media pages she may not be a headache. Grown men have no damn business posting on or attacking a HS kid that wasn't even a SR yet. It's creepy AF!!

I always wondered if that was a true Vol fan, a troll, or a fan of another school that made the comment on social media.

Exactly! Anyone can portray anyone on sm. I can easily create a new x (twitter) account and pretend to be a fan of a particular school and troll the hell outta people and recruits to make that team’s fanbase look bad.

If you are on sm, regardless of your age, you need to have thick skin b/c there’s a lot of nonsense on it with the sole purpose of getting you in your feelings. And some of that nonsense comes from teenagers and women, it’s not just “grown men”.

It’s not a freedom of speech issue. More common sense and decency. Just because you have the freedom to say whatever you want doesn’t mean you should in every situation.

Oh it's more than that. He's a known portal tamperer. Look at taking Addison from Pitt (Duzzi called him out for it) and every good player we had after Pruitt left. Swain even alluded to the fact that they all knew where they were going before they hit the portal. Outside of Hank, they all went to OU.

Nail painting+A hole qbs (Baker too)+Convincing Addison to come USC before he entered the portal+Messing with the University of damn Tennessee (those players would have left but none of them have geographic or any ties to Oklahoma)=slimy
