So you make a statement about financial resources with obviously no facts to back it up? Not sure if you are aware but we are still Top 10 in revenue with the $h!t product we have put on the field the past 10 years plus. Imagine the amount of revenue and profit this university is capable of by just putting a halfway decent product on the field?

In addition we have one of the highest coaching payrolls in the NCAA.

This university got to where it is being because of incompetence at the top. After having a great AD in Doug Dickey they made the biggest mistake in UT athletic history by promoting mole rat Mike Hamilton. We have been in a downward spiral since then but there is a light at the end of the tunnel. There is a reason that they talk about programs in terms of traditions because all schools go through periods of ups and downs but you are measured by your success over time.

Idk if there’s any truth but considering the seeming full court press we’re putting on numerous other linebackers right now, I find it plausible.

Never argued that we are not; however, those declaring we are not going to win a meaningful game for the next ten years, because we have possibly lost out on a couple of recruits, are baby-back 'itches.

Improvement is possible... especially once the Butch stench is removed from the team.

Even at our best, we couldnt beat UF consistently. Right now we are 7-22 against UF since 1990. This year they stomped us. Alabama? Ppfftt. Saban is contracted through 2025. So thats at least, what 6 more wins in a row for them? Georgia? With how Smart is recruiting? I mean he has beaten us just like Saban has the past 2 years.

There is absolutely no logical way to think we will beat either of those schools for the next 7-10 years. We are a lower tier program that can hope to finish 3rd in the East for foreseeable future.

I guess y'all though I was BS'ing you! My BIL is telling me what is what from their recruiting board and I just report it here. He's a Dawg and I've always been a Vol fan, just not a happy one these last 10+ years. They got a commit from 5 star Clay Webb today right out from under Nick Saban just like their Mod said. Believe what you want but we ain't getting Marshall. It is extremely difficult to stay positive when UGA is recruiting better than Alabama.......
