is it wrong to say this feels like a quay walker deal, w/the exception of the UGA committment already? you definitely have to have a back up plan here.

Pappoe and Marshall have a deal, for every AU visit, Pappoe has to visit UGA. Pappoe already visited once, will be back in Athens next week. Bertrand and Marshall committed, trending with Dean and Rian Davis and Pappoe still taking secret visits, think they need 2 but will take 3 max. I like Marshall, Dean shows the most on film, he is a stud and will be a hard pull. Already locked up his last visit. Marshall is a stud also, he strikes you. I miss the hard hitting safeties and fear they are a thing of the past. Berry would strike you, he probably gets flagged in college now and his hits were vicious. Look at the film of Otis Reese and give me your thoughts, he reminds me of old school hitting.

Most likely LB destinations, imo:
Owen Pappoe sticks with AU
Trezman Marshall sticks with UGA
Nolan Smith sticks with UGA
Rian Davis goes to UGA
Nakobe Dean goes to UA
Christian Harris goes to UA
Vonta Bentley goes to Clemson
Crouch goes to Clemson
Kalen Deloach goes to USCe
Kane Patterson goes to Ohio State

ETA: I think UT & USCe also have a pretty good shot with Crouch. I think UT could get Patterson too, IF they push now. But if UT slow plays Patterson and Ohio St doesn't, I think he'll commit to OSU this summer.

Very feasible, think Crouch really likes UT, will say the dark horse on Dean is MSU, I wouldn’t be shocked if they pulled Emery next month, new coach is doing pretty well right now.

I'd be surprised if Emery (LSU) or Dean (UA) went to MSU. I suppose Emery might if LSU landed Noah Cain.

Don’t think Dean ends up at MSU but they are in his top 4. Some at LSU think MSU is trending for Emery, others think LSU/Ga battle, not many guys leave that state that LSU really wants. Bama gets a few but you are almost the only one who can with an occasional outlier. Would be a good pull for MSU if they swing it. Think Cain’s recruitment is just hitting its stride, Oklahoma, Penn St, and Texas all have their hand in the cookie jar to go along with SEC schools. Did you offer Umstead a walk-on position for Trey? Think he recommits?

Imo, Orgeron should've chosen "the Bird in the hand" and pushed for Emery early. Emery had wanted to go to LSU and he's a dang good RB. I think Emery plans to announce very soon.

I'm pretty confident Bama will land Christian Harris, Devonta Lee and Ishmael Sopsher from LA in this cycle. There are a few others down there Bama would love to steal, but I don't think it'll happen.

Bama did give Umsted Sanders a PWO offer after he camped Sun-Tue. And it's not only because of Trey; Bama's depth is very thin at ILB. I already liked Bama's chances with Trey a lot, and even moreso now. They might even commit soon.

NB4 someone starts whining about posters from 2 of our rivals having a civil conversation on a Vol board. :)

Any chance at all here?

If a player committed to another school is on campus there is almost always a shot. It sounds like this kid is legitimately exploring his options.

I was surprised to see him playing QB in his highlights.

Could you imagine if there were a special offensive package which out Marshall and Couch in the same backfield in short yardage situations.
