Several of you have asked about the edge prospects in this class and Tennessee should get official visits from a few next month. Christian Gass, Jayden Woods, Lavar Arrington Jr. and Cortez Harris are planning a visit to Rocky Top soon.

Tennessee continues to keep close tabs on fast-rising 2025 EDGE Christian Gass whose recruitment has blown up of late. Gass has had plenty of good things to say about the Vols since visiting earlier in the spring. He tells us this week, he has reworked his official visit schedule and will now see Tennessee the weekend of June 21st. He will also take officials to Georgia, Florida, Kentucky and USC. He wants to make a decision by the end of the summer.

Lots of NIL opportunities either way. I've heard that Buddha Flatulence has around a billion followers and is nasty if he can avoid forcibly launching to the face.

We could use a defensive player like that and with the girth of his frame he might grow into a heckuva OL similar to Stink (Mark Schlereth).

Christian Gass continues to be a versatile player this staff likes, and the interest is mutual. He will be at Florida this weekend, and the Gators appear to be Tennessee’s biggest competitor at this stage. He will be in Knoxville at the end of the month, and the Vols are deep in the recruitment of the four-star LB heading into a busy month.

Tennessee is battling for Christian Gass. Coming into June, Florida appeared to be the biggest threat to the Vols for the versatile linebacker, but Georgia and Southern Cal have both made strong moves throughout the month. Gass is comfortable with the staff on Rocky Top, as they have recruited him longer than most staffs involved, so this weekend will be more about learning about Tennessee overall. A big focus will be on education, as he wants to learn more about a potential business major route and what life after football could be like for him.
