I'll ask again, but does anyone know who was in the video with him? I thought he called him Jamyest, as in Jamyest Williams. Anyone know for sure?

Yeah that's not Jamyest, it's a kid they call Spider he's a 6'3 180lb corner from Westlake not on our radar

Disagree if his parents made him do that, which appears likely.

He also merely apologized that people saw it not his comments were disrespectful on a junior day he chose to attend. This will affect his recruitment in a negative way and it should. Its a character flaw.

I don't care who made him do it. I would expect a 16 year old to still have enough adult supervision to advise him of how to walk through his mistakes in life. It's still a big deal to learn from your mistakes and issue a public apology at this young age.

It will affect his recruitment though. He will still need to live with the consequences.

When you act like a fool you tend to be treated as one.

Don't doubt that.. IMO, it will also cost him in the long run. We all learn lessons the hard way, unfortunately.

Just not big on adding to his '15 mins of fame' by giving it too much attention here..

"walked on the field and thought the only thing I'm going to do is get a pick 6 and make the crowd go quiet"

"gonna throw them gloves away"

talking to people responding on periscope "no I didn't get raped"

"I'm here to recruit for the dogs"

Yelled "Go dogs" when all the recruits were in the film room.

He used age as an excuse in his apology. That's crap. That tells me he is not mature enough to handle this situation. This will definitely cost him some of these trips. Other schools will shy away from him now and rightfully so.

Let's hope so. Hope other schools see this punk as toxic and choose to look at other kids with higher character....and there's a ton of em out there.

If he's already a UGA commit how does this hurt his recruiting in the future? Maybe I'm just stupid but he was a commit already visiting around right?

He was yes. Think about a guy like D'Andre Christmas-Giles. He committed to us and kept visiting. If he was saying Go Vols I can't wait til the Vols win a national title at say Texas, LSU, etc and openly recruiting for Tennessee, those schools as well as other schools would take note and back off of him. God forbid he tears his ACL or really declines in play this year and Kirby drops him in January, hes screwing himself by burning bridges. If you think a school like Alabama hears about this and just keeps letting him on campus, then you're mistaken.

He better hope UGA is as dedicated to him as he is to them come closer to NSD

Like I said, I don't think he apologized for being disrespectful. He apologized for getting caught/called out. That doesn't equate an apology in my book. This can't be blamed on age. 99% of kids go through these vists without doing it. Did he kill somebody? Obviously not. Am I pissed? Not at all. Just calling it like I see it.

Sucks that it happened, but no one up in here was mad when PWill wore his UT gear on the Auburn visit and also said he was recruiting for the Vols...

Wasn't it that trip that he told them the only way he was showing up was in UT gear? Or was that Clemson. I remember PWilly doing something like that.

Good grief, the kid ****ed up, apologized and won't be coming to UT.. Some of you act like he slapped your mom.. Get over it..

Its the fact that he disrespected Butch and his staff. I think his fake apology isnt worth a grain of salt!

Didn't much care for that either, or Boulware wearing the UT gear in the picture with Richt on his Georgia visit. Show some respect to the men who are taking their time and energy to bring you to their campus and try and bring you in as a member of their program. Act like a young man worthy of being given the attention and potentially very valuable scholarship they're offering. It's both an honor and privilege that you got the invite in the first place. Maybe I'm just old school but I'd jerk a knot in my son's ass if he tried to pull any of that mess.

Iirc Boulware was being visited by Richt at his high school. Totally different scenario imo.

Correct

Donta Hightower refused to come out of a classroom when Fulmer and Chief visited the school back in the day.

This kid accepted an invitation to visit a school.

FWIW heard PW flashed the VOL sign during a picture and Auburn sent him packing. They later floated a rumor he was smoking the herb.

My bad on that one then. Retract my earlier statement, request it stricken from the record 😬. (That's my lawyer talk from all the lawsuit threads).

Honestly I kind of believe he was smoking lol

I doubt AU would have cared too much if he'd been an undecided AU lean though.

UGA wouldn't cut him. For one thing, he's very good. It's also personal though.

For those who don't know, Jaden's father, Brice Hunter, played WR for UGA in the 90s. His mother also went to UGA, and they were both friends with Kirby Smart in college. Brice was killed when Jaden was very young.

Anyway, the kid has been through more than any 17 year old should have to. He messed up with the UT thing and should learn from it, but imo the holier-than-thou rush to judgement about his character is a little much.
