I wonder if sometimes 1 or both sides are just extending the dancing for contingency in case something impactive changes with current plans.

Not sure how to determine any hard sell going on. Just can’t assume that is the case.

In this day and age it’s likely USC gave him the biggest LB bag

He’s a good player. We’d love to add him, but our budget dictates what we can do. I think we wanna take 1 more backer but if we can’t get a good deal on one I’d bet we seek portal/wait a year

Class looking closer and closer to filled with Morris and Anes taking spots

USC is insanely down bad for the southeast talent. Lincoln Riley tried to just recruit out west when getting there and we saw how that worked out. Now he's trying to buy a team from the south and expect it to just magically fix it feels like

I remember like 3 games into the season, Josh Pate was saying USC was the story of the season, and I thought, “Ok, bud.” He also compared Riley to Heupel with how they’re offensive-minded coaches who’ve committed to defense. We see how that turned out.

Lincoln Riley is what a lot of people think Prime is.

I didn’t tell you how to spend your money. Just said it was stupid to pay for info when they purposely withhold info.

Only time I tell people how to spend their money is when I tell people to sign up for the VolClub.

Tennessee will continue to stay in contact with Jadon Perlotte. However, we will see how much he does not want to be at USC in the coming weeks. The Vols would not mind adding another linebacker to the class, but like all programs, they have an NIL budget, and after Perlotte chose to flip to USC over the summer, the Vols opted to circle back to Jaedon Harmon, who chose to flip from Alabama.
