‘23 GA LB Jalen Smith (Tennessee commit)

Wouldn't trade this dude for anyone.

14 tackles total and 1 sack against Marietta.
He's probably going to average that....

And he starts next year. Not sure who's going to be beside him. If Beasley is still here, then yeah him, but Smith will definitely start and he'll be up to 220 by then
I normally would ask you to pump brakes about him starting, but I think you are right on this one.

Both Perry and Herring will have a voice in that conversation.
I assume you mean with Smith?
Yeah. Telander as well.
We need at least 4 guys.

Banks wants a true 2 deep, because of how our offense works. 22 guys that are basically starters.

Smith is the best looking ILB prospect we've had in a long while.

Thank you!

That Grayson team is loaded with 4 stars and even 5 star players, and Smith absolutely is their best player.
As in he makes the most impact.
Not ready to call him a 5 star....yet.

I'll just ask this: watch Smith's film, and watch the film of the kid from Miami we had committed when Pruitt was still here (He was a 5 star that eventually signed with Maryland) and see if there's any difference.

“With” or starting in front of him. They’re both at least equitable athletes who will have over a year in the system and strength training at the college level. Even Al Wilson didn’t immediately start. I liken this case to JRM hawking at ST’s waiting for his chance.

Perry maybe has the most upside of our young LBs.
Perry, Herring, Mohan, Bolton
Herring physically moves well for ILB,and he's already got the size.

But I don't see any of them being as good as Smith. They'll have the extra year on him sure, but he's too ready to just play special teams.

He and Nico will be starters as true freshman first game 2023 for their position.

I think it will be Perry beside Smith

You fall in love easily and make declarations early. Good reason to keep your frequent flyer miles handy for a quick Reno divorce. 😎

I think herring will definitely be a starter next season.

Where are you getting your stats from dude because they are wrong lol

Touch touchy aren't you 🤣?
You were wrong about Beasley. Get over it!
Then you make up crap excuses about why our 5 star edge player dropped.View attachment 482715
I was wrong about Beasley? I was working with his team in Milton that night and did a live thread of the game on Twitter of notable plays lol.

I didn't make excuses for Chandavian getting dropped some in the rankings. I just pointed out the fact that you were saying it was ok to bump someone up over him and then it wasn't ok for him to move down in the rankings. I never said he should've been dropped or why he was dropped

After watching his film from last year you could see Elite Skill to play ILB. I do not know if he will start next year but he will definitely play quite a bit. Coaching staff very happy with Herring and Perry as well. Perry is going to be another steal he is athletic baller with great football mind for ILB. In CHRIST Alone

1) You said Beasley couldn't play CB. I generously explained to you why he can. Then you respond back with making excuses about your "assessment "😏. And Beasley pretty much put that to bad. Made you look like you don't know jack....if the shoe fits right?

2) Anybody, if they wanted too can read that Bailey thread and see what I was saying vs what you were saying. It's obvious YOUR bosses have a bias towards UT. You try to explain it away as "welp if some people rise, then shucks others gotta fall!"🤪

Really😮? Who could have guessed that!?🙄.
And it was COMPLETELY pointless to the point I was making.

I said "it makes sense " to grade kid higher with legitimate Bama and UGA offers.

BUT that is was COMPLETELY unfair to drop a kid who commits to Tennessee when Heupel and crew have only been there one year🙄. Especially when he had a stong camp summer

But hey gravity and stuff right??? Smh

I didn't explain it that way, was just saying your complaint contradicted itself. Chandavian is very good and definitely shouldn't have dropped nearly as much as he did. He was one of the best players at the big camp in Florida this summer. I didn't say Kaleb can't play corner, I said something he can improve on is his change of direction and he did that this spring/summer from what I was able to see of him and he proved the change is legit on the field against Milton. Quotes from me on Kaleb:
"He is a 6-0 corner as a freshman that is going to be really good"
"He is going to be one of the top corners in his class so he will be hearing from all the top schools."
"He's elite"
"Hips are too stiff RIGHT NOW [to be a 1st round pick] IMO"
"He's going to be a great DB."
"Looking forward to watching him against Thompson and Milton (will be matched up on Debron probably)... He's still young obviously and he has worked his butt off this spring despite playing basketball so I'm looking forward to his play this year. Really good kid too"

I write whatever the hell I want to write. They don't tell me what to write. I interview a recruit, write up a summary, include some good quotes I like, and send it in to be put up. I'm going to be doing more than just interviews now, so when I get some game reports or recruit reports (probably the latter) from the Freedom Bowl and Corky Kell, you'll see how I feel about Kaleb's game. I'm very high on Kaleb. I just write articles for sites to continue to grow my brand on bigger platforms so I can hopefully keep moving up and building connections. Nobody beside people around recruits and my eyes affect my opinion on a player's game or talent level. Kaleb is really good, Debron is really good, Jalen is really good, Chandavian is really good. I'm super high on all of them. I'll say what I like and don't like about anyone's games if it comes up. I don't have any bias against Tennessee. If anything, I have bias towards us because I'm a lifelong fan lol

I love Nico but people better start realizing that Joe Milton III will have something to say about it next year. He very well could start week 1 in the 23 season. Just saying. Nico will be an underweight freshman competing against a 6th year grown man who knows the playbook.
