This whole situation is just odd. How has this kid not handled his business in the classroom up to this point? I'm surprised we took this kid if his academics were in this much doubt. I dont ever recall giving a recruit this much leeway in trying to qualify just to get in. Also, what does this say about his Propst, his high school coach? How did the kid even qualify to play for his high school? At this point it seems to me that he'd be JUCO bound.

I agree. Even if he does manage to sneak in, as great as the Thornton Center is, I have a lot of doubt about him being able to handle his business here academically. Plus I dont see how he could possibly help us THIS year with missing summer workouts, along with 2 days into fall camp already. He'll probably redshirt and I'm pretty sure Pruitt and staff were looking for him to contribute THIS year

Meh. This is a minimal amount of time. We are still expecting Lofton to arrive any day now.

The most uneasy part of this is it's clear that Propst is very involved with his process of taking online class or classes. I agree with you I don't trust that guy one bit and I hope like hell the NCAA is busy elsewhere than following this one

College is a clean slate (once he gets in)

I don't know the final date but I would assume a few weeks after classes start. The final drop/add date

Probably because it's Propst who keeps giving these specific timelines that Pruitt has to walk back. You can tell Pruitt isn't thrilled about it. TMI isn't something we're going to get from this staff.
