He has been for a while I think. I'm pretty sure they wouldn't do that if they weren't fairly certain he was going to be on the roster one way or another this fall. Whether it's playing or just practicing on an academic redshirt.

Lol, I thought it was too obvious for someone else not to have noticed. Thanks for the explanation Im hopeful he will get on the field ASAP.

Meh, Rush gave UT Pruitt. Propst was the coach hired at Bama before the scandal broke, they ended up hiring Pruitt instead and the rest is history.

Not sure I would say Rush gave Pruitt to us. Rush was the one who told Saban about Pruitt. I know it wasn't a position hire initially but Propst is an offensive guy and not gotten the defense coaching position Pruitt got. I know Saban interviewed Propst but he was never offered the job. After their interview Propst was driving home and got a call from Saban asking about his girlfriend, which he was also married. He may or may not have eventually been offered the job but it never got far enough to be offered the job.
