That's not how it works I don't think. If they went ahead and did it he couldn't still work on getting qualified this season. They still have time before going to the backup plan. No need to panic yet. We'll find out soon.

If he is still working on a class I agree with you for sure. If he's just waiting on paperwork I would think he woud already be here knowing at worst he's a redshirt

He won't request final certification until his NCAA file is complete. Then the NCAA will process his file and determine his eligibility status. He can't be with the team until his status is determined.

Same here in Texas. It's a good law IMO. It may get over enforced at times, but it's worth it to save lives.

Wish they would do that everywhere. Texting while driving should carry a $5,000 fine minimum. I was behind someone during rush hour in Nashville yesterday that was looking at their phone the entire time as they were stopping and going. I said to myself that they were going to hit someone. Sure enough, not a minute later they rear ended the car in front of them. Nashville traffic is bad enough now, and these sh-t for brains aren’t helping.

How about YOU think about "all the others that we can't recall that faded off and never did anything"...and the people that like to think positively and about former UT greats that DID MAKE IT, we think about them? You think and comment what you want, and we think and comment what we want. Sound cool?
And I'm sure the same things you're saying were said about Emmit Gooden and Lakia Henry, Cordarrelle Patterson and Jahmir Johnson, D. Wood-Anderson, and even Dale Carter, and on and on. Just saying, try not to compare all the ones that haven't made it to a kid you don't know from adam, and say it like it more than likely happens here.

you can get a blue tooth device on amazon for like 15 bucks that plugs in to your lighter and auxillary port. there's really no reason to have a phone in your hands anymore.

Yeah, like Newt said. Austin. Is it not the law up there yet. I thought they went ahead and did the whole state. It's been the law in Austin for a couple years now.

Played leap frog with a red mazda last week from Cleveland to Farragut. Ran 60 while texting, eighty while not. Never moved out of the left lane.
