Sounds to me like all the downsides are only negative for high school teams and towns. Doubt any of those have an affect at the college level
Very intriguing these two guys.
JK. Taylor 6'4" 245
ILB Bituli 6'3" 240
MLB Kirkland 6'1" 230
WLB Smith 6'3" 233
Jk. Kongbo 6'6" 270
ILB. Ried 6,0" 225
MLB. Kirkland 6"1" 230
WLB. Bituli 6"3" 240
Oh you think not. Why wouldn't they? Where would the downsides go? Just disappear? The upside is that CJP knows Probst well. Downside is Probst was the boss man then, and he would not be that as an assistant coach. The adjustment might prove difficult. Of course, that is not for me to decide. That is CJP's job, with maybe some imput from ADPF.
I think Kongbo plays DE. He was already a tweener in the 4-3. I don't see him playing off the edge.
But Reid will be interesting to watch. The last staff loved him. And Bituli could play OLB
Yeah, Kongbo really should have embraced the move to DT 2 years ago. Because he's not developing at DE. Still a great talent.
I'm very very interested in what this new staff does with the current roster. So many players who might not fit the ideal 3-4 defense. But Pruitts ran a different variation before. At FSU it was more 4-2-5 than anything else. With Jalen Ramsey playing that Bandit position.
I believe we have talented players on defense still. Really curious about
Kongbo
Phillips
Byrd
Blakely
Reid
A Smith
D Taylor
