'20 GA OL Tate Ratledge (UGA commit)

Heard Austin Price say similar things to this yesterday. Said the timing just isn’t good since Ratledge wants to early enroll, just not enough time to get him flipped, said he expects him to probably stick with UGA.
He doesn't have to sign early to EE. He can simply show up and enroll. That's what EEs did prior to the early signing period. No reason to rush things.

If Tate were smart, he'd wait and sign in February given that he's not going to graduate early. It's not like he won't have a spot at TN or UGA or any other place for that matter. He's a top talent and everyone will make room for him. It's the most logical thing to do, but in most cases 18 year olds don't do the most logical thing.

I thought I read that he is planning on signing early in December, but is not able to enroll early? Anyone confirm that? If so, from his perspective there's really no upside to signing early if he is having any reservations regarding the coaching situation. Why not put off signing till Feb if he won't be enrolling early anyway?

He’s not an EE. But he wants to sign early. Due to not being an EE he doesn’t really need to sign early. Hopefully he doesn’t.
