'20 GA OL Tate Ratledge (UGA commit)

Waay OT: My buddy is a Cane fan. So, knowing they recently had a coaching change, I checked out Rivals. I know Miami gon Miami, but, there really is no excuse to our current situation in recruiting. This staff has literally every dollar in world available, full support of AD, and several great recruiters.

It's almost as if other schools found a huge weakness and got word out.

Honestly, you got you think at some point this staff will get it turned around, that's part of the frustration. They def have some coaches, we got to trust them more than ever.

A couple of recruiting experts say UGA when he announces his final 2 and suddenly we’re missing on every recruit that hasn’t even announced yet? 😂 are you really that stupid?? Is your life THAT miserable?? Nah you’re right we’re gonna lose out on everyone, as a matter of fact, Harrison might flip to Georgia too 💀 at least you probably think that

There's quite a few schools (especially Miami, Oregon, FSU) that have recruited better than Tennessee has that haven't exactly been setting the world on fire on the field. People just like to make excuses here.

it's debatable about Miami and Oregon's recruiting rankings relative to ours. Yes they may hve more four and five stars, but TN had talent in last five years.

My buddy says that Miami brass have compounded its situation with rigorous academic standards. IOW, both sides paddling in opp directions.

sounds familiar.

FSU. No excuse there.

Lol. You must have a different perspective in what’s poorly then. Tennessee will still end up with a top 15 class at the end of the day. This one is head to head with one of the best programs in the country for the prospect both programs want the most on Oline and it’s a coin flip right now. Reality is we haven’t settled on great players but have swung for the fences on elite players.

Here, I have a participation ribbon for you. Jeremy Pruitt said after his first signing class that Tennessee would be at the very top of the recruiting rankings. He didn't achieve that in 19' and he's not on pace to in this current class. Top 15 would be okay, but I certainly won't be doing cartwheels.

Ask him about the recruit they just landed, #1614 in the country. 6’1 155 with 4.85 speed, I’m curious on that one. UM is ranked #53 in academic rankings, they do have some good programs. Curious why they accepted that commitment this early?

Is it because of insistence on camping? Do you think that has recruits turned off? Last year it was kind of a thing. I think we will be fine in the long run, but it is hard to see supposed “vol locks” going elsewhere. Lots of big fish left out there though. Can’t wait to see what the rest of the class for ‘19 looks like when they mix in this summer. Maybe we get a Rakim Monday and these guys are finally trolling somebody besides us!

Top 15 wont cut it. Maybe in the Pac12, but not in the SEC. Top 15 in the nation is like 8th best in the SEC and behind FL and UGA in the East.

Heres the reality of this recruitment:

1)This kid is the priority on Oline for both programs. There are other players both programs are in on but this kid is the priority. If he commits to Tennessee, it is probably the biggest commitment of this years class.

2)I think like secking that he sticks wherever he commits barring major changes. Like for instance if he commits to Tennessee there would have to be a meltdown during the season for us to lose him. If he commits to Georgia Pittman would have to leave or something similar before he signed.

3)I believe he’s leaning Georgia but it’s close. I know there has been some smoke that Rusty already has a commitment video done. The pull for UGA is mostly Pittman and his relationship there. The pull for Tennessee is family and they’ve been with him on a lot of trips there. Also don’t forget the recent visit by Chaney that was a lengthy visit. He’s been with both programs and chose Tennessee over Georgia bc of his belief in the program.

Ah, so refreshing to read the verbatim instruction in the negavol handbook. OPINION in all caps is a must as is chortling about the sunshine pumpers who are not realistic like you. You all should update this version. It's been out of date for about 12 years.

Is there any way Pruitt uses his in home with this guy in May and try to lock it down before Monday? Or save it, and if he commits to UGA, wait until late and go for the flip?

I'm a sunshine pumper 90% of the time but in my opinion, recruiting sucks right now. It's not my fault you can't see that.
