#number1insider@Bassmaster_Vol check the stats.
We can point each prospect out from the state of GA but at the end of it they're ultimately recruiting at a level of bama, clemson, osu.. my question is why place such an emphasis in state when you're recruiting at that level? I get it.. they have lots of instate talent but it's not the end if they don't load up on instate crop am deathly you know this LVBecause its the state of Georgia. The most talented football state now.
There's 3 other 5 star and two high ranked QBs that they're not getting from their own state. If you look at the top 15, everyone of the prospects fit what UGA does offensively and defensively.
Edit: Auburn has commitments from 5 out of the top 15 players from the state of Georgia!! All 15 are in the top 150 of the whole country including 5 star RB Tank Bigsby. That's alarming.
LSU will end with 3 out of the top 20 as well as locking down their own state of Louisiana. Geez...
If Tate flips and get Whitehead and hold o to Calloway that gives 4 out of the top 25 from the state of Georgia...
Kirby is having a problem this year
Would have loved to have Luke on staff in some capacity.I think @SLICKYINC was looking for an offseason upgrade here....
Because recruiting long term is often about relationships. You don't need every player and you don't need the guys that don't fit the system but when things go south or you have a bad year you need to count on in state guys that generally grew up rooting for you as when you lose a few games the guys from LA or New Jersey will easily go to the next hot team. UGA apparently burned bridges at Grayson and is not getting anyone from Marietta this year. The top RB next year really wants to go to Clemson, maybe UGA shows no love to HS coach or the player? We can point each prospect out from the state of GA but at the end of it they're ultimately recruiting at a level of bama, clemson, osu.. my question is why place such an emphasis in state when you're recruiting at that level?
