My guess is the money guys aren't used to the Alabama/Auburn bagman model of doing whatever it takes and being smart about it. Say what you will about them, but those guys put their money where their mouth is. If you ain't cheatin, you ain't trying.

well, there was a time, they weren't so smart about...especially Auburn.

i think we've always been pretty smart, and probably picked our battles carefully.

times, they are a changin'.

I don't know. Those Bama boys are in it to win it. Auburn hasn't really had anything stick have they?

I do believe that Pappoe and Morris were trying to help a fellow teammate. However I also believe Auburn's pitch is causing Pappoe to reassess his interest in Georgia. They're telling him UGA is stacked at LB. I believe Pappoe will be visiting UGA again soon which may put a damper on any momentum Auburn has built. I still think there is a good chance Pappoe ends up signing with UGA and Morris with TN.

eh, there was a time, now it was 20ish years ago+ for Bama, and maybe 5-10 ish for Auburn, where neither of them were very good at it. both got caught with their pants down.

changes made, both seem to be much, much better at it today.

i mean, Bama, handing out Chargers like their m&m's down there, and it doesn't even move the needle.....lol.

I was talking about recent history. I know the troubles they've had before. They learned and got better at covering the trail, even when everybody knows where the trail is.

I was gonna say that I hope the FBI investigates CFB next but if we’re trying to keep up with the big boys then never mind 😜
