'19 GA OL Wanya Morris (Tennessee signee)

* Finally, OT Wayna Morris was the headliner of this weekend's visit list, and while Tennessee once again impressed the 4-star Grayson (Ga.) standout, multiple sources indicate that Auburn is the likely pick on May 1.

Wow. Ton of women at Auburn, but not very many. Must ship them in from somewhere else to the cabin.

Wow. What is going on? This sucks[/QUOT

Has to be something big in auburn side otherwise our visit would at least have had him guessing unlike it is doing. It had zero effect from hownit sounds. Guess the wasting a scholly on Clark was a big deal for him. Oh well. Not into wasting schollies for a package.

What always has stunk with losing prospects to Auburn is their uncanny ability to come in at the 11th hour and snatch them away from UT. It literally seems like it's happened at least a dozen times in the past 20 years.

Were just gonna have to deal with top 10 or top 15 classes until we start winning ball games folks. Unfortunately that’s just the way it is right now. We’ll get back to where we need to be soon enough, though.

Plenty of places have good coaches, programs and facilities. However, some are more invested in the unofficial recruiting than others. Clemson, Georgia, Auburn, & Alabama are highly committed here.

The Tennessee Fund was once such an obstacle for other programs. I suspect a decade of mediocrity has dampened the enthusiasm of some, but not all of our donators. Until we are ready to begin to invest here, these battles will be harder and harder to win, because clearly... other programs are invested

One thing I noticed though, when reading the Bogle article by Hubbs, was that Bogle said he, Wanya and Curry are going to all come back this summer. If Wanya is shutting down his recruitment after May 1, why would he come back? A better question is why would UT allow him back? I can only think of one reason.

Read it again. It says Wayna would come back IF he committed

Getting those channels up and running doesn't happen over night. Some of those schools have been allowed to operate with impunity for a very long time and it's entrenched into their culture.

December's signing day is a long ways away, but Bogle said the Vols will remain fresh on his mind because it's not going to be his last trip to Knoxville.

“Actually, I'm coming back in the summer,” Bogle said. “It's going to be me Wanya, and Jalen Curry. We are coming back.”

Also I think this was a Freudian slip: in his VQ interview he mentioned the fans and how exciting it was and he said “imagine if i went here. Its going to be crazy.”

I agree. Of the two I'd rather have Wright, but it would be awesome to have both.

Not to be argumentative, but curious to know what makes you say that. I know Wright is ranked higher but Morris plays against the best competition in the country. It could be argued he’s much less of a risk.

I love VN.

"Did you see the tense he used? Vol lock!"

I would love it if we got Wanya a but these kids know how to play this. He is talking to reporters that cover UT. They are going to slant their questions and he is going to slant his answers to UT. I hope I'm wrong but I think we may be reading to far between the lines here.
