Wow. What is going on? This sucks[/QUOT
Has to be something big in auburn side otherwise our visit would at least have had him guessing unlike it is doing. It had zero effect from hownit sounds. Guess the wasting a scholly on Clark was a big deal for him. Oh well. Not into wasting schollies for a package.
One thing I noticed though, when reading the Bogle article by Hubbs, was that Bogle said he, Wanya and Curry are going to all come back this summer. If Wanya is shutting down his recruitment after May 1, why would he come back? A better question is why would UT allow him back? I can only think of one reason.
Plenty of places have good coaches, programs and facilities. However, some are more invested in the unofficial recruiting than others. Clemson, Georgia, Auburn, & Alabama are highly committed here.
The Tennessee Fund was once such an obstacle for other programs. I suspect a decade of mediocrity has dampened the enthusiasm of some, but not all of our donators. Until we are ready to begin to invest here, these battles will be harder and harder to win, because clearly... other programs are invested
Read it again. It says Wayna would come back IF he committed
December's signing day is a long ways away, but Bogle said the Vols will remain fresh on his mind because it's not going to be his last trip to Knoxville.
Actually, I'm coming back in the summer, Bogle said. It's going to be me Wanya, and Jalen Curry. We are coming back.
Also I think this was a Freudian slip: in his VQ interview he mentioned the fans and how exciting it was and he said imagine if i went here. Its going to be crazy.
